Summer is around the corner and babies don’t wait for good weather! Using a studio is the perfect place to make your session comfortable and can complement your personality and vibe! If you’re planning on doing a maternity session this summer but don’t want to bare the heat, studios will be half off when booking!

One of the biggest complaints that I hear from masters graduates that didn’t do a grad session for their undergrad is that they regret not doing an undergrad graduation photo session and that they feel like they missed out on capturing that milestone! Don’t let that be you!

Your undergrad only happens once and it’s important to celebrate your huge achievement! Whether you’re graduating high school, undergrad, masters, or even from specializing in a specific trade, don’t be afraid to book that session!

It’s so crazy how I meet some of my clients!

I remember when I first started my photography business COVID had just happened and everyone was doing backyard weddings and elopements! Belen had posted on her story (we hadn’t connected just yet) and requested a last minute wedding photographer for her brother’s backyard wedding since their original photographer got sick! One of my followers added my name to her list of choices and sure enough I was available and photographed their wedding. Keep in mind this was my FIRST wedding gig!

Since then, Belen and I have always been in contact through social media and is always willing to model for me when I need one! Just last year I requested a couple to do my AZ state fair session and Abraham reached out to me and see if he could propose during the session and I said OF COURSE!

Next thing you know, here we are full circle and now Belen and Abraham are getting married! Forever loving their connection and how obsessed they are with each other! I wish them both a lifetime of happiness and prosperity!

My shy couples always come out with the cutest galleries! It’s always the “we’re kinda shy so we don’t know how they’ll turn out”!

During a lot of my wedding consultation calls I always get asked what is my approach to shy couples and how do I make sure the photos come out nice and the answer is simple.

I’m going to let you be you and focus on one another!

When your focus is on one another and not primarily the camera, your photos will come out more natural! As long as I keep you moving and make sure you’re comfortable, your photos will come out great!

Jennifer + Brandon are getting married at the end of this year and I get to document more of this cuteness! I’m so excited for their wedding and continue to be a part of their journey!

I remember during their engagement session, it was packed with people but when we got to this little part of the desert and with this AMAZING view of the Superstition Mountains, it felt like we were the only ones there! Not to mention we got a visit from some friendly wildlife to tie it all together!

It’s my favorite time of year, graduation season! I love getting new grad clients because each session is always different! I love getting you to express your personality, show off your accomplishments, and make this session all about you and your journey!

It may seem too soon to take grad photos but I always recommend the earlier the better! For some of you, graduation is in May but for some it’s in mid April - that’s a month and a half away! You don’t want to spend time worrying about your grad photos when you should be worrying about finals!

All I was singing in my head while editing these photos was “Love Story” by Taylor Swift 💕

There’s something that I love about the photos taken before the ceremony. From the giddy excitement building up to see one another, the intimate moments with your closest people, alllllll the details and one on one photo sessions with the bride and groom!

One of my biggest pieces of advice is to always add extra photography time to accommodate these precious moments. When the pre ceremony time frame is rushed, everything else will seem out of place, and it shows in photos! This is the time to cherish all the excitement and intimacy!

At the end of the day, enjoy every moment!

Although your wedding day is about you two as a couple and the people around you, your details are important too! You spend a huge chunk of your wedding planning on details alone so make sure your photographer knows how to capture them so you can cherish those details later on too!

It’s also a plus to incorporate some details and concepts that are important to you two as a couple! Makes those detail shots unique!
