Dov was very responsive and was able to get me scheduled quickly. They are true visionaries and helped bring my idea to life. I had a patio cover built, and some trim redone on my home. He has an amazing team, special thanks to Clayton! Their work is unmatched and the quality is IMPECCABLE. They are true master carpenters and take great pride in their work. I won't use anyone else when it comes to anything carpentry related.

Custom design, hand crafted double red oak doors by Shapira Builders
The outside and the inside have different design.
The dark stain was chosen by the home owners.
Each door is two inches thick, thirty inch wide and seven feet tall.
Jamb and trim was modified from standard inch and three quarters to two inch door thickness.

My client bought a used arched top door and needed someone to built an arched top jamb and install it in an arched opening.
I built the jamb and installed custom made trim.

I purchased some gently used Anderson French doors from OfferUp. Although I do a lot of home improvement projects myself, I wanted someone else to install them since it's a two man job. After a fair amount of research, I came across Shapiro Builders. And I couldn't be happier that I did. You can tell Dov knows the nuances of door installation, and that he takes a great deal of pride in his work. They not only did a great job with the installation, but they also cleaned up the doors, which had been sitting outside for several months, and the job site. I'm having Dov back in the near future to install another French door, once we complete the masonry work. Bottom line: if you need a door installed, call Dov; I'm confident that you'll be glad you did.

Some houses in the state of Arizona come with flat roofs forcing the A/C duct work aka 'mechanical' to run along the floor rather than in the attic that peak roof provides.
Hallways closets are built above the duct works and the doors are shorter than standard doors.
Those closet are usually have plain flat face.
My client wanted to upgrade the doors to Shaker style doors.
Instead of getting new doors, I added three eighths of an inch strips along the edge of doors and now it's legitimate Shaker style door.
This is very much cost effective.
I used a sheet of 4x8 by three eighths of an inch MDF
(medium density fiberboard), ran it on a table saw to get the strips.
