🚦3 Signs You're Losing Strength... And You May Not Even Realize It
Getting older doesn't mean you have to become weak. But if you don't challenge your muscles, strength can gradually decline over time.
👉Here are three signs to watch for:
1. Carrying groceries feels harder than it used to. If you're making extra trips because the bags feel too heavy, it may be a sign you've lost strength.
2. Getting up from a chair or the floor takes more effort. Standing up should feel natural, not like a struggle.
3. You avoid activities you used to enjoy. Maybe it's hiking, biking, playing with your grandkids, or working in the yard.
If you've stopped because you don't feel strong enough, it's time to rebuild your confidence.
The good news?
Your body can get stronger at almost any age with the right plan.
I've seen this both through my education in exercise science and through my own recovery after a serious injury. I know what it takes to rebuild strength, and I know that small, consistent steps lead to big results.
🎯 My goal is to help people, especially those over 50, stay active, independent, and able to enjoy the life they've worked so hard to build.
➡️Question:
Which of these three signs have you noticed, or what everyday activity would you like to feel stronger doing?

After 50, your biggest competition isn't your age. It's muscle loss.
One of the biggest myths I hear is:
"I'm getting older, so it's normal to get weaker."
The truth is, we naturally lose muscle as we age, but that doesn't mean you have to accept becoming weak.
Strength training can help you:
âś” Improve balance
âś” Make everyday tasks easier
âś” Support healthier joints âś” Increase energy
âś” Stay active doing the things you love
I've seen this from two perspectives.
I studied the science of how the body works, and I also had to rebuild my own strength after a serious injury.
I know what it's like to lose muscle and work to get it back.
That's why I believe fitness should never be one-size-fits-all.
Every person deserves a plan that fits their body, their goals, and their life.
You're never too old to get stronger.
Question for you:
What's one activity you want to keep doing for the next 10 or 20 years? Walking? Hiking? Playing with your grandkids? Traveling? Tell me in the comments.

Most people see strength as something you build in the gym.
I see it differently.
In 2016, I went through a serious injury that left me on crutches and in a wheelchair for about a year and a half. I lost a significant amount of muscle and strength, especially in my leg and glutes.
I know what it's like to wonder if you'll ever feel like yourself again.
That experience changed me.
Yes, I have an education in kinesiology, anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, nutrition, psychology, and strength training.
But rebuilding my own body taught me lessons no classroom could.
Today, my mission is simple.
I help adults, especially those over 50, become stronger, move with more confidence, and stay independent.
Whether it's carrying groceries, climbing stairs, hiking a favorite trail, playing with your grandkids, or simply getting through the day with less pain, strength makes life better.
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all workout plans.
Every person has a different story, different goals, and different challenges.
That's why I create personalized strength and nutrition programs based on the individual, not a template.
If you're ready to invest in your health and build strength that lasts, I'd love to help.
This page is where I'll be sharing practical fitness tips, exercise science made simple, nutrition advice, and real strategies to help you stay active for years to come.
Here's to building strength for life!

There comes a moment for so many women over 50 when they realize life has quietly gotten smaller.
Maybe you hesitate before taking the stairs.
Maybe getting up off the floor feels like a struggle, or you've stopped doing things you once loved because your body just doesn't cooperate anymore.
It's frustrating.
It's discouraging.
And deep down, you wonder if this is simply what getting older feels like.
I'm here to tell you it doesn't have to be.
Your body is incredible, and it's never too late to rebuild strength, confidence, and independence.
The 80+ yr old ladies I train in the picture below can testify to that!
Strength training isn't about lifting heavy weights or trying to look like someone you're not.
It's about waking up every day feeling capable.
It's about carrying your groceries without pain
keeping up with your grandkids
traveling without worrying if your body can handle it, and saying "yes" to life again.
Strength is the closest thing we have to a fountain of youth because it gives you back something priceless: the freedom to live life on your terms.
You don't have to figure this out by yourself.
If you're ready to stop feeling limited and start feeling like you again, let's have a conversation.
We'll talk about where you are today, where you want to be, and how we can create a plan that fits your life and your goals.
One simple conversation could be the first step toward a stronger, healthier, more vibrant future.
You deserve to feel strong.
You deserve to feel confident.
And you deserve to enjoy the life you've worked so hard to build.
Don't wait for "someday." Reach out today, schedule a call with me, and let's start building the stronger, more youthful version of you together.

Everyone wants fitness to be easy.
They want to do 10 minutes of light stretching and watch twenty years of joint pain magically disappear.
They want to take a "miracle pill" or follow a generic magazine workout and wake up with the strength and energy they had in their twenties.
They want to hit the gym once, wake up the next morning, and see a total body transformation without breaking a sweat or changing their routine.
And when that doesn’t happen?
They say strength training doesn’t work for people their age.
Here’s the truth:
Reclaiming your body after 50 is hard.
And not for the reasons you think.
Getting in shape doesn't work just because you showed up and walked on a treadmill.
Moving better doesn't happen just because you bought a new pair of shoes.
Living healthier doesn't click just because you cut out carbs for four days.
Strength training works when you stop treating your body like it’s fragile and start giving it the specific, progressive challenge it needs to thrive.
Movement improves when you commit to functional, deliberate practice—not when you assume a few random exercises will fix decades of sitting.
A healthier life happens when you stop looking for shortcuts and start treating your longevity like an actual lifelong strategy instead of a quick-fix project.
Most people give up too soon.
Most people think their age is the problem, when in reality, their approach, their guidance, or their consistency is what's broken.
Most people are chasing easy instead of chasing what actually works.
But here’s the good news…
If you’re willing to actually do the work—build your foundation, refine your movement, and commit to a real system instead of hoping for miracles—strength training can change everything.
It can take you from feeling stiff and limited to feeling strong and capable.
It can bring back the freedom to move without second-guessing your knees or your back.
It can let you stop stressing over aging and start focusing on actually living your life to the absolute fullest.
But it is NOT magic.
But...If you're serious ...

Did you know your muscles possess an incredible, hidden "cellular memory" that stays locked inside them for decades?
When you strength train, your muscle cells don’t just get bigger; they actually gain brand-new nuclei—the command centers of the cells.
For a long time, science assumed that if you stopped exercising and lost muscle, those command centers withered away.
But recent research proved they don’t.
They stick around like a permanent biological savings account.
What this means for you: If you’ve ever been strong in the past, your muscles "remember" it. The moment you start lifting again, those dormant command centers wake right back up, allowing you to regain strength and vitality at a drastically accelerated rate.
You are literally rewriting your cellular architecture to protect your future.
No matter where you are starting from today, your body is hardwired to respond, adapt, and get stronger. You just need the right blueprint to wake it all up.
Ready to tap into your body's full potential?

Tyson Dale has become not only one of my good friends but he is also an AMAZING fitness trainer! I have been overweight for at least the last five years and last June I found Tyson and he has been great! I've lost 25 lbs. since I started and I am working hard to keep it off and lose more.
Even though I would love to look great in a bikini this summer, I am even more concerned with my overall health and well-being, emotionally and physically. Believe it or not, working out, even in small doses, can help you have more energy and stamina throughout the day.
Tyson isn't a drill instructor but he leads with a firm hand and an incredible ability to know your personal limits not to mention a great sense of humor. He is dedicated to help you succeed in whatever plan of attack you may have! Give him a try and you'll see just how easy it is to work out in your home with good instruction. .. Darci Johnson

🔥 As we get older, especially over 40...
You start to feel like you'll never move like you used to.
You've resigned yourself to grunting when you get off the couch.
Making excuses to avoid physical activities.
Feeling like your body is breaking down faster than you can fix it.
👉 But here's what's terrifying about that acceptance...
You're meticulously planning for a retirement you might not be able to enjoy.
You're maxing out your 401k, buying index funds, dreaming of freedom at 65.
You understand that small, consistent investments today create massive returns later.
But you're applying zero of that same wisdom to your physical future.
You're not investing a single minute in the body you'll need to enjoy that money.
And the math is brutal.
👉 As we age, we naturally experience some muscle loss each year.
And to add to that… we sit over 9 hours a day…
We're literally the most sedentary generation in human history.
So while you dream of retirement adventures...
Traveling the world.
Playing with grandkids.
Finally having time for hobbies.
Like Mountain Biking 🚵‍♂️🙂
Your body is quietly preparing for the opposite reality.
What good is financial freedom if you can't walk up stairs?
What's the point of saving for travel if you need help getting off the floor?
How will you enjoy retirement if you can't stand without pain?
All the money in the world won't buy back the muscle and strength you're losing right now.
You're financially planning for independence at 65.
But physically planning for dependence.
👉 Here's the good news…
Just like compound interest builds wealth over decades...
Small, consistent Strength Training compounds into lifelong Strength.
✅️ But it has to be the RIGHT movements you need for Strength.
Not random exercises or generic Youtube Strength routines.
Strength Training specifically designed to reverse what decades of sitting does to your body.
You see, after working with thousands of people to get Stronger throughout my last 22 years of training clients...
I've discovered what works and what doesn't to rebuild Strength most people lose as they age or have from injuries...
I've put everything into an easy to follow program called my Pure Body Strength App, which has already helped several people Nationwide, reclaim the strength and muscle they thought they'd lost forever.
Here's just a few results:
"At 86, I've been able to get back to working out from a car accident. I broke my neck. I am able to move it better and it doesn't hurt the way it used to. I feel stronger and able to get back to life without fear of re-injury. - Liz. Scottsdale, AZ.
"I've been training with Tyson for the last 10 years. He is an amazing Trainer. I'm 56 and he has helped me stay strong, consistent and has helped me crush PR after PR for Marathons -
Dan. Paradise Valley, AZ
"Dealing with Dementia and Parkinsons Disease, Tyson has helped prolong the symptoms, helped me with my balance and has given me more of my life back. I wish I had found him sooner"- Ron. San Diego, CA.
My Training works because I create the exercises your body needs like the long-term investment it is.

I believe in my system so much that I'm giving you 1 week for free!
