Started the weekend at the Arabella Marketing & PR Showcase The Arts Fashion and Beauty Expo. I made an appearance with Ultimate Elite Pageants and also had the opportunity to model! Huge thank you to my sister queens, Christal and Ashe, for helping me collect donations for the Laloboy Foundation.

Hi everyone! As many of you know, my reign as Mrs. Ultimate Elite 2025 came to an end over Labor Day weekend. At the pageant, I was incredibly honored to be awarded not one but TWO unexpected new titles. After representing Ultimate Elite Pageants this past year, I was selected as one of the Ultimate Elite Ambassadors 👑💖

This year, the board brought back the Ambassador title, and I’m truly grateful to be among the Queens chosen. From appearances and community service to organizing events, helping behind the scenes, and welcoming new sister queens into the Ultimate Elite family, it has been such a rewarding journey. I’m so honored to continue representing UEP through this Ambassador role alongside two amazing, deserving ladies.

Our sponsor JNM Talent also awarded me the Ultimate Top Model title for the upcoming year. I’m excited to keep engaging with the community through fashion shows, volunteering, special events, and more.

As someone with a background in education—having worked with learners from 3 months old all the way to university students—it’s always meaningful to engage with the broader landscape of higher ed. It’s been a busy month (no surprise there with the end of the semester around the corner!), but last week I had the chance to attend a two-day conference in Tempe. I joined sessions focused on accreditation and data quality and had the privilege of supporting coworkers who were presenting. Especially with all the challenges and uncertainty happening currently in the DOE, it was encouraging to be surrounded by so many intelligent individuals doing such important work. Grateful for the insights, conversations, and the opportunity to reconnect with the “why” behind what we do of preparing future educators across the US.
