Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, those who answered the call, and the families and communities forever changed.

In the face of unimaginable loss, communities became a source of strength as neighbors cared for neighbors and strangers stepped forward to help.

September 11 reminds us that community is more than where we live. It is how we show up for one another, especially in the hardest moments.

Today, we honor their memory. We will never forget.

This week, our very own Tracy Schiefferle joined other Chapter Executive Directors from around the country at the CAI 2026 CED retreat in Washington, D.C. The retreat offered collaborative learning sessions, the opportunity to network with other chapter leaders, and a bonus outing to last night's Washington Nationals game!
