Loaded Breakfast Waffles 🥓🤩
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 1/2 cup Kodiak Cakes Buttermilk power cakes
5 slices of cooked Bacon
1 egg
2 tbsp Basil Pesto
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 tbsp Garlic
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1 handful of Spinach
A pinch of chopped Rosemary
Drizzle it with your favorite Syrup!
Then greek yogurt mixed with Basil Pesto for a dipping sauce 🤤

I’ve never been a fan of the restriction focused eating plan. If you’re craving waffles, eat them! Especially when they’re packed with protein & full of flavor - like these bad boys 😍 I’ve formulated a few of my favorite Kodiak Cakes waffle combinations & have been experimenting with them all the time. I have to admit, this recipe is my new favorite! They’re perfect for dinner or if you’re celebrating the weekend at home with your family. Eating healthy can still be enjoyable! “Mom-Butt” & “Kangaroo Pouch” - why are they so common amongst women? Especially postpartum? 🥞🦘
The anatomical terms are Posterior & Anterior pelvic tilt. Pictured above vs. Proper Posture.

Both types of tilts tend to result from a combination of daily habits, your biomechanics, improper training, or a sedentary lifestyle paired with rapid weight gain.
If you’ve ever suffered a minor injury, sat at a desk job, traveled for work, or have ever been pregnant - you may be rocking one of these 🙇🏽‍♀️
Pregnancy & breastfeeding are both major contributors!🤰🏻🤱🏼
It’s most common for this to happen during pregnancy due to the heavy load (baby) being held out in front of you so – if you’re not working on corrective exercises during your pregnancy + postpartum – the pelvis may tuck under to balance that weight or tilt backward, each causing separation of the abdomen & loss of proper glute function. 🍑
If you're suffering from chronic lower back pain, sore joints, tight hamstrings or glutes, knee pain, headaches, pain + bulging in your abdomen, or incontinence - this applies to you mama! 👋🏼
The pelvis, ribs, & head can be understood as structural units, building blocks, of our spinal alignment. A structural unit doesn't actually sit right on top of the unit directly below - it's often the first step in attaining proper upright posture, as well as noticing & addressing common problems such as flat low back or a rounded out lower back. A number of less than perfect pelvic positions exist that can negatively affect your posture & overall pain levels, ultimately, your well-being. When they’re left unattended to, exercised on, & ignored they could eventually result in serious health issues requiring surgical intervention.(Yikes!)
I always urge my postpartum clients to be patient during this healing period. We spend 9+ months housing our tiny humans inside our tummies. Changes won’t happen overnight. Postpartum is a time to focus on corrective exercises that utilize the hip hinge & strengthening the pelvic floor+lower back.

Mmm, give me all the 💓 thangs! Treating myself today with this delicious ensemble from a few of my favorite brands! The combo of Pink Stork Slim Hibiscus tea, pairs perfectly with Milkadamia unsweetened nut milk + the vibrant Unicorn Superfoods! Topping it off with Sports Research collagen peptides! Exactly what I need after a long night of nursing & answering emails - 🤪

Here’s what you’ll need:
One cup brewed Pink Stork Slim Hibsicus tea
One scoop Sports Research Collagen Peptides
Two teaspoons Unicorn Superfoods Beauty powder

Sweeter Than Apple Pie Bliss Balls 🥧🍏

As if you needed a reason to munch on Apple pie that’s completely guilt-free! These bliss balls take the (pie) for flavor & nutrient content! So grab one of those apples that’s about to go bad, chop it up, toss it onto your cast iron skillet with 1 tbsp coconut oil & sprinkle with cinnamon!
The real MVP in this recipe is the Sports Research Grass-fed Collagen! Collagen is essential for pregnant mamas, postpartum recovery, & women who want to improve the overall quality of their insides! Collagen has been known for it’s “beauty” benefits but did you know that it’s also a natural way to heal your joints + connective tissue? Collagen can actually repair overworked tendons & help reduce joint inflammation. It’s also a great way to improve your sleep quality & reduce anxiety. It’s the real, unsung hero for women of all stages of life!

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
1 scoop Sports Research Collagen Peptides
1 very ripe Apple (sautéed stovetop w/ Coconut Oil & cinnamon)
1 handful of Chia Seeds
1 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Pink Salt
1/3 cup Agave
1/4 cup Almond Butter
Combine all of the ingredients into a bowl & use your hands to mix & mash until combined. Use a large spoon to scoop with & roll in your hand until shaped like a ball 🧶
Store in the fridge for 5 days & freezer for 2 weeks!

After becoming a mother, I had no idea how often I’d be asking “waffles for dinner?” Honestly, it’s the easiest, most efficient, & truly nutritious way to feed my breastfeeding body. (Also makes my husband happy too) 🤗 which makes Kodiak Cakes a real lifesaver in our home. They have tons of flavors & stay true to being clean, nutrient dense food. Here’s what you’ll need:

How To Safely Detox While Breastfeeding & Why It’s Beneficial✨

Did you know that the body holds onto excess hormone in the same way that it does toxins, chemicals, & unwanted pathogens? 🤭 Throughout the 9+ of pregnancy, mothers produce just as much estrogen as a non-pregnant woman does throughout her entire lifetime! It’s our liver’s job to break down & filter out this excess estrogen postpartum. But pair that with the (well deserved) glasses of wine, medications administered during birth, and the convenient foods eaten postpartum - estrogen gets put at the end of the line, in order of priority. The excess estrogen results in a condition known as estrogen dominance which causes weight gain, brain-fog, heightened irritability, & fatigue. Giving a whole new meaning to the term “mom-brain”.🤯
A gentle detox + nutrient dense eating regimen is essential postpartum, in order to heal the body & cope with all of the changes that it’s going through. I encourage my postpartum clients to take advantage of this time to repair, nourish, and detox the body by consuming healthy, healing foods as often as they can. 🥗🍌🥑

I ask them to choose from a variety of yummy, gentle detoxes to be paired with their nutrition plan. This recipe is one of my favorites!
What you’ll need:
2 cups brewed Pink Stork Strawberry Recovery Tea
1/2 cup Love Kombucha
2 tbsp Unicorn Superfoods Açaí Berry Superfood
1 Mango
2 handfuls of Strawberries
1 handful of Blueberries
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tsp Pink Salt
Rosemary (chopped)
1/3 cup Chia Seeds
Combine all ingredients into a large mason jar, shake & store in the fridge! Grab a spoon & enjoy 🥄

The ALA fatty acid + omega-3 content will help regulate blood pressure, decrease inflammation, & lower cholesterol. Rosemary has been used for centuries to aid in hair growth, increased circulation, & reducing joint pain. ( kicked in the face!)
