Services include mental health education, parenting groups, therapy and intervention for children, teens, adults, couples and families who need emotional support through times of crisis. Aleinu is funded in part by the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, and is a program of the Jewish Family & Children's Service.

Part time therapist to work with the Jewish community

Perform operations of the Jewish Counseling Program; including budgeting, client services, and the management of reduced fee services for qualified Jewish applicants. This role also conducts comprehensive behavioral health intakes and diagnostic assessments, conducts treatment planning, and provides a range of qualified & recognized behavioral health treatment services as necessary to meet client’s needs.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate services with other involved agency treatment staff

· Provide clinical supervision to staff and students as assigned

· Represent the Jewish Counseling Program in the greater Phoenix Jewish Community

· Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills

· Demonstrated capacity to provide a range of behavioral health treatment services to an outpatient population

· Demonstrated ability to assess crisis and emergent situations

· Demonstrated capacity to represent the agency at community meetings and events

· Demonstrated capacity to meet clinical recordkeeping standards

· General familiarity with Jewish holidays, customs and life cycle events

· Prepares required reports, inclusive of incident reports, DCS referrals, QI/QM activities, performance audits, and compilation of meeting minutes.

· Completion of clinical screens to evaluate risk levels and medical conditions.

· Ensures all services are clinically necessary and are documented as such within outlined timeframes

Qualifications

· Independent Licensed by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (i.e. LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), or the Arizona Board of Psychological Examiners.

· Certified by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to provide Clinical Supervision.

· At least 5 years' post-graduate work experience in providing and supervising behavioral health clinical services.

· Jewish by birth or choice

· Familiarity with Jewish holidays and Jewish life cycle events.

· Some familiarity with Yiddish and/or Hebrew languages is a plus.

Professional Behavioral Health Clinician - Older Adults Program: JFCS is currently seeking a Licensed Clinician to provide therapeutic services for clients enrolled in our Older Adults Program. For those motivated to introduce positive and lasting change in the lives of older adults/seniors living in your community, this role may be your perfect fit.
• **Flexible, Hybrid Schedule - Services are Provided in Clients' Homes and Virtually
• **Work with Clients Living in either the East or West Valley.
Duties include:
• Provides direct therapy, facilitating intakes and assessments that foster a solution/strengths-based orientation in addressing the client and family’s ongoing needs.
• Assists in addressing the ongoing needs of the adult client and family.
• Uses clinical best practices to engage formal & informal resources for the client, including the transition, discharge, and aftercare plans of behavioral-health services.
• Provides clinical oversight for the coordination of behavioral-health services with external agencies, such as the Division of Developmental Disabilities, Arizona Long Term Care, and others.
• Collaborates with JFCS behavioral health and medical staff as needed in the provision of best practices.
• Remains knowledgeable of various outside resources and demonstrates a positive, strengths-based attitude of teamwork and shared leadership.
• Facilitates medical, treatment, and management teams in implementing procedures to better meet the client’s needs. Identifies, prioritizes and records the family vision and goals via the Behavioral Health Service Plan and Safety Plan.
Qualifications:
• Clinician V: Independent License conferred by the AZBBHE (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
• Clinician IV: Associate License conferred by the AZBBHE (LMSW, LAC, LAMFT)
• Experience working with Older Adults/Seniors
• Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint card without restrictions.
• Reliable transportation
• AZ Driver License
• AZ Auto Insurance
• Bilingual, Spanish-English a plus; Salary Differential Offered.

• Sign-On Bonus of $2,500 for Clinician V; $2,000 for Clinician IV.
