It's chemical water & dye mixing day. I'm making 3 versions of chemical water, each a different thickness for different effects. My protein powder containers are great for storing my dry chemicals.

My previous post' "Fun with Hemostats", didn't make sense to most without any context. 😏 Pics 2-4 give some context as to what hemostats have to do with the shirts in that post. 🙂

More Fun with Hemnostats

Here's the difference in a 50/50 cotton poly blend (left side) & 100% cotton shirt. They were dyed exactly the same.

I have a lot of catching up to do. I injured myself last winter & wasn't able to do much plus other stuff. I have done a little tieing & dying, not much & I haven't been posting at all. I am ready to get back at it. Here are some socks that I did in February. My first time showing them.

The socks are 100% Bamboo & thigh highs are 100% cotton... very comfy!

This only my 3rd ice tie-dye. I'm learning more about dye placement. Even though there are things that I would do differently next time I'm really happy with the way it came out! What do you think?

Experimental trial run on a custom order. This is my first sweatshirt. I used a sweatshirt with the hood cut off. It was in a rag bag at the shirt distributer. Its not a rag anymore. I love the way it turned out.
