An alternative to U-Haul for artists and musicians in downtown Phoenix

05/09/2021

To-do list to get Vanasa up and running again:

- Tommy Gate fixed (can’t move it until)
- Steering Gear Box replaced
- Brake master cylinder replaced
- General tune-up
- Pass Emissions Test

Engine runs, AC still works, automatic transmission was rebuilt.

If you know anyone that can handle some of these repairs, I’m ready to get em done.

Although Vanasa has always been in good repair and helped many artists and musicians in Phoenix move their work around town and Tucson, recently she has been out of commission due to a cracked/leaking steering gearbox. If you or a friend can help with either doing this type of repair and/or covering its expense for a shop to do, you'll be given access to it for two years to do moving in-town or a roundtrip to Tucson. Pass the word, thanks!

Vanasa has returned from Cape Kennedy and now has a fully-functional transmission! Now ready for long missions across freeways.

It appears they didn't like the dehydrated ice cream too much.

The absolutely hilarious news is that they attempted to eat the "Astronaut Ice Cream" that was in one of the bins...

So the bad news is someone broke into Vanasa last night and stole her battery...

Update: I'm starting up fine (just a fuse) and my driver side door now opens! Thank you AAA & The Auto Shop (Central & Garfield)
