Cyrex Laboratories
Out of this collaboration, Cyrex develops the next generation of clinical lab testing that is required to care for present-day complex maladies.
Cyrex Labs is an advanced clinical laboratory focusing on mucosal, cellular, and humoral immunology and specializing in antibody arrays for complex thyroid, gluten, and other food-associated autoimmune reactivities and related neurodysregulation. Cyrex’s Scientific Advisory Board, comprised of experts from a variety of medical and research disciplines, brings together the latest findings from medical research and the assessment needs of today’s healthcare professionals. Clients of Cyrex Laboratories can take advantage of educational opportunities to obtain the latest and the best clinical information through professionally accredited classes, lectures, webinars, and published articles. Cyrex also sponsors informative public lectures on the advancements in healthcare and assessments now available through laboratory testing.
The immune system is always talking. 🧬
The question is: are you listening?
“Functional immunology is body language. It’s a conversation the immune system is having with us.”
Learn how to read the signs before a diagnosis is even possible. Robin, VP of Clinical Education at Cyrex Labs, breaks down how to screen for autoimmune reactivity early and what to do about it.

This Father's Day, we recognize fathers living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other neurodegenerative conditions.
We also honor the sons and daughters who have stepped into a new role—not just as children, but as caregivers.
The ones helping with appointments, medications, daily routines, difficult conversations, and moments of uncertainty.
The ones returning the same love, patience, and care they once received.
Caregiving is one of the deepest expressions of family.
Today, we honor the fathers who shaped us and the caregivers who continue to stand beside them.

A great weekend at IFM AIC 2026 in San Diego connecting with practitioners, partners, and leaders who are helping shape the future of personalized care.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Cyrex booth and explored new ways to bring deeper immune-informed testing into practice.
Events like IFM AIC remind us of the power of collaboration, curiosity, and continued learning in advancing patient care.
Until next time, San Diego.

What if drugs like Mounjaro are helping autoimmune patients for reasons that have nothing to do with weight loss?
Some researchers and clinicians are starting to question whether GLP-1 medications are doing something much bigger beneath the surface by directly influencing inflammation and immune activity itself.
The overlap between autoimmunity, fatigue, metabolic dysfunction, hormone symptoms, and chronic inflammation may be far more connected than we’ve been taught.
In this new article, Dr. Elroy Vojdani breaks down the emerging science, the patient patterns showing up in practice, and why this could reshape how medicine approaches chronic disease over the next decade.

When a patient comes back reactive to everything, it’s easy to default to elimination. But that’s not always the right move.
Polyreactivity is one of the most misunderstood patterns in immune testing. It doesn’t mean the results are wrong—it means the immune system may not be behaving with normal specificity.
And that changes how you interpret everything. This is where testing shifts from “what’s positive” to “what pattern am I seeing?” Because the real question isn’t just what the immune system is reacting to—it’s why it’s reacting that way in the first place.

📢 Less than one week to go.
Most testing conversations fall flat not because the data isn’t valuable, but because patients don’t understand why it matters to them. This session flips that.
Dr. Peter Kan will be walking through how to actually use BiomeBurden™ Complete in practice to drive clarity, trust, and follow-through—so patients stop hesitating and start committing to care.
What you’ll walk away with:
• A smarter way to present testing that increases patient buy-in without “selling”
• How to simplify complex immune concepts into language patients actually understand
• A 4-layer framework to deliver results in a way that sticks
• How to position your practice as the place patients trust for answers—not just testing
If you’ve ever had a patient say “I need to think about it”… this is the missing piece.

We want to give a big thank you to our lab team this week.
So much of what we do depends on the consistency, care, and attention to detail that happens behind the scenes every single day. It’s not always visible, but it’s felt in every result that goes out and every provider who relies on that work.
We’re incredibly grateful for the time, focus, and pride you bring to what you do. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day.
For many individuals on the spectrum, blood draws can be a major barrier to testing. Not because of the test itself, but because of the sensory experience around it.
These small, practical adjustments can make testing more accessible and more manageable in real time.
