Modern Buffalo

If the last 6 months had a theme, it would be: “Life really said… ALL OF IT. Right now.”

On the business side, Modern Buffalo has been full steam ahead — new team stores, custom orders, rush jobs that came out of nowhere, and enough emails to qualify as cardio.

And somewhere in there, I also decided it was a great time to start managing rentals for .wi … because clearly I thrive on a very specific blend of creativity and chaos.

On the personal side, life had its own agenda:
• the Annual summer road trip to Wisconsin
• The heartbreaking passing of my father
• More unexpected WI trips that came with that
• Chauffeuring children to school and activities like a full-time Uber driver who gets paid in snacks and sarcasm
• Rekindling my love for baking sourdough — because if life is going to crumble, something might as well rise
• A sinus infection dramatic enough to land me in the ER
• And now… gearing up for surgery (meaning the office will be closed for a few weeks for recovery — and then again for the holidays, because why not add more to the pile?)

Through all of this, one thing stayed steady: YOU.
Your orders, your support, your patience, your kindness — that’s what kept Modern Buffalo going when life was really testing the “strong independent woman” storyline.

Here’s to the next chapter: more growth, more creativity, and hopefully… just slightly less chaos.(But let’s be honest — probably not.)
