We are beyond thrilled to welcome the incredible Gretchen Carpenter as Director, the wonderful Alexandra Biggs as Choreographer and the powerhouse Jeanette Winzeler as Music Director. This creative team is bringing professional-level training, high energy, and serious heart to our teens.
This camp is designed for performers ready to level up vocally, physically, and artistically. Expect strong choreography, dynamic vocals, character work, and the kind of rehearsal process that pushes you while cheering you on every step of the way.

Standing O is our monthly giving community, a group of passionate supporters who cheer on CYT Phoenix year-round. Find Your Character Project

At CYT, character development has a clear North Star.
We believe true character is rooted in reflecting Jesus: showing His love, integrity, humility, and courage through both words and actions. Simply put, character development is becoming more like Christ.

The Find Your Character Project guides everything we do through three lenses: our Mission, our Values, and our Triple Threat: Character, Culture, and Craft.

Character | HOW we do what we do
We intentionally teach and model Christ-like values in every interaction.

Culture | WHY we do what we do
We cultivate a vibrant, imaginative, inclusive, and uplifting environment. CYT may not be for everyone, but everyone is invited, and all are welcome.

Craft | WHAT we do
We pursue excellence through high-quality productions, classes, and camps that challenge students to grow and shine.

Because at CYT, we’re not just developing performers, we’re developing people.

Spring show coming up!
Make sure to have your audition forms turned in by Feb 11 (they’re emailed in your class registration confirmation).
This production is capped at 60 students, which is always hard for us, we truly wish we could say yes to everyone. Please know that if this becomes a cut show, every auditionee is being covered in prayer, and each student is deeply valued and seen beyond a role.

This treasured honor is voted on by the entire cast and given to the student who best reflects the heart of Christ. Just as Jesus is called the Rose of Sharon, this award symbolizes the sweet aroma of Christ-like qualities: kindness, joy, encouragement, humility, and love.

From auditions to closing night, Hannah was a steady light, a delight to be around, always helpful, always uplifting. Her presence made our rehearsal room brighter and our community stronger.
