General information

Many smaller businesses obtain HR professional services on an
out-sourced basis because few business owners or executives:
• Have the expertise or time to manage employee issues or the HR
functional areas.
• Can cost-justify a full-time HR professional, especially one who
has the experience and expertise needed to manage employee
issues and all of the HR functional areas.
HRHelp provides these professional services:
1. Resolving employee issues in a manner that is consistent with
the needs of the business, while reducing the risks of claims
of unlawful discrimination or sexual harassment or wrongful
employment practices.
2. Assessing current HR policies and practices. Then, creating and
implementing HR policies and practices that meet both the needs of
the business and the compliance requirements of the various state
and federal laws with which the business is required to comply.
3. Training regarding HR issues and management practices.
4. HR functional areas, including:
• HR Policies and Practices Manual.
• Employee Handbook/Manual.
• HR Administration, including notices & posters, personnel
files, HR forms, form EEO-1, Affirmative Action Plans,
FMLA, and ADA.
• Employment Practices, including recruiting, interviewing,
selection, FCRA, new employee orientation, new hire
reporting, and employment eligibility (form I-9).
• Employee Relations, including performance evaluation
and management, discipline, terminations, prohibited
harassment, investigating claims of harassment, and
responding to Notice of Charge of Discrimination claims.
• Compensation and Benefits, including FLSA and overtime,
benefit planning, benefit administration, COBRA, HIPAA,
job descriptions, salary surveys, compensation structures,
and unemployment insurance claims.
• Safety and Security, including Hazard Communication
Standard, drugs/substances testing programs, OSHA
recordkeeping, and worker’s compensation claims
and administration.
