The Arizona heat can turn a pool green overnight, here are a few obstacles to consider..

1) Pool pump run time - with the Arizona heat reaching 110 degrees this week - your pool should run for at least 10 hours/day. This is based on standard formula of 1 hr/per 10 degrees air temperature.
2) Make sure your filter is cleaned
3) Draining pool during the summer heat can crack the plaster.
4) Free water tests offered at retail suppliers can leave you guessing regarding the correct chemicals to use and may not be accurate. Hundreds of dollars later, your pool is still cloudy.
5) Dogs swimming in your pool can become dehydrated in the heat. Make sure your dog has access to plenty of cool, fresh water 24 hours a day..
