A Note from the Surge Executive Team
After 15 years of faithful leadership, service, and friendship, Aaron Daily is stepping away from his role at Surge.
Aaron has played a significant part in shaping our network, investing in leaders, serving the Church, and helping guide Surge through many seasons. His impact will be felt for years to come, and we are deeply grateful for all he has given.
While we will miss him in this role, we celebrate this next chapter for Aaron and his family and pray God’s blessing over all that lies ahead.
Surge’s mission remains strong, and our Executive Team will continue leading and serving the network as we move forward together.
Thank you, Aaron. We are grateful for your leadership, your friendship, and your lasting contribution to Surge.

What does it mean to see immigrants not as outsiders, but as essential contributors to the Kingdom of God?
In this powerful conversation, Aaron Daly sits down with Deenbo Kidane, leader of the Daniel Initiative, pastor, mother, and advocate for immigrant communities. Together, they explore the unique gifts immigrant churches bring to the American Church, including resilience, prayer, faith, generosity, and deep-rooted relationships — and why those gifts are needed now more than ever.

We sat down with Jeremy Jernigan to talk about life on the margins of certainty, the tension many leaders feel with the modern Church, and what it means to remain rooted without losing honesty. In a cultural moment where more people feel caught between belonging and disillusionment, Jeremy’s new book, On the Edge of the Inside, gives language to the spaces many of us quietly inhabit.
One question that especially resonated with our team at Surge Network was this:
“What does it mean to live ‘on the edge of the inside’ without becoming cynical toward the inside?”
