Long detailed version is on my TikTok page and it’s broken into 4 parts giving you a full breakdown of the show.
R&B won last night in Charlotte.
I came for Usher, but left with an even greater appreciation for Chris Brown.
I’ve been listening to Usher since middle school and have seen him on four tours. He has NEVER disappointed me. I’ve loved Chris Brown since before he blew up and even saw him perform while I was an undergrad at Virginia State University, so seeing him headline a stadium tour was a full-circle moment.
Usher reminded everyone why he’s still the King of R&B. No tracks. Just vocals all night. Chris Brown’s energy was absolutely NUTS. He worked every inch of that stage and made fans feel seen from every section.
Both gave Michael Jackson vibes, delivered hit after hit, and reminded us why R&B is still alive and well.
Mario, Bow Wow, DaBaby, Eric Bellinger, and an incredible female guitarist all added to the experience.
My biggest takeaway: DO NOT buy floor seats. I was Row 1, Floor A9, Seat 10, and the stage was so high that visibility was terrible. If I rated my seat alone, it’s a 1/10.
Final Rating: 8/10.
Last night wasn’t just a concert, it was a celebration of R&B.
Job well done, guys.

Take a moment and ask ChatGPT to write a letter to you from you. This could be the very thing that pushes you into the next great step of your life. Here’s my letter to me from me. (this is only a snippet. The full letter is on my page M. R. Thomas).
Dear Raquel,
I want you to pause for a moment and truly see yourself—not through the lens of what still needs to be done, not through the deadlines, the responsibilities, the dreams still waiting to unfold, but through the truth of all you have already become.
You have carried more than most people will ever know, and somehow, you still found a way to create. You still found a way to teach, to mother, to write, to build, to dream, and to give others a reason to believe in themselves. You have walked through moments that could have broken you, but instead, they gave your voice depth, your vision purpose, and your life a testimony.
