Everything you wanted to know about Zeros (0) and Ones (1) and how to read electronic binary signals and codes, wiring, signal degradation after 300’ and noise/interference in line voltage.

JR demonstrating the new Maverick “Gates on Wheels” training/demo cart.
Announcing Maverick’s new multi-purpose gate tool designed and built by our own JR McLaws....
It has two real, functional wrought iron gates: A portable automated swing gate on the front and a magnetic pedestrian/pool gate on the side. It is powered by AC/DC and has encased twin 12-volt batteries, wired in series, for 24 volt back up power, per fire code.
For demonstration and training purposes, each gate can be operated manually or controlled remotely with a keypad or card reader.
This portable unit will now be used to supplement the training our service technicians receive to build, maintain, wire, and troubleshoot problems...in the comfort of the office, under supervision. Technicians can prove their metal and earn additional certifications.
Our new “Gates-On-Wheels” unit is also portable enough to be carted to client offices for training and Lunch & Learns.
And, imagine this at a trade show: Booth visitors pick a FOB from a basket of FOBs. Pick the FOB that operates the gates and they win a valuable Maverick prize!
Ahhhhh...the possibilities!

Some seriously huge gates, designed and fabricated for an east valley commercial client. These 23’ and 33’ gates required serious ingenuity to move them (forklift and chains attached to temporary weld loops) out of the shop, onto a flatbed truck, and to place them at their new cross town home. Outstanding work...guys and gals...from design to install. Another successful melding of engineering and art by your friends at Maverick Gates.
