WE ARE 2 ELECTRICIANS ON A MISSION TO RAISE AWARENESS & FUNDS FOR CHILDHOOD-CANCER

Photos from Pictureusrollin's post 03/22/2026

We had an amazing time at the WeldHer event here in Phoenix.

IBEW 640 Women’s Committee was proud to demonstrate conduit bending and lead participants through the process, teaching them how to bend conduit hands on.

We appreciate being invited to be part of an inspiring event. It was great to stand alongside other trades who were also sharing their skills and knowledge, what an incredible display of talent across the industry.

A special shoutout to our sister Emily, who had the opportunity to speak at the event, we are so proud of her and the way she represented our sisterhood.

We also had the chance to meet a few of our apprentice sisters, and seeing their enthusiasm reminds us just how bright the future of our IBEW is.

We look forward to many more events like this 😍⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Carvin Jones is an incredible talent whose guitar playing is pure energy and soul, when he plays, you feel every note.

Right now he’s fighting stage 4 cancer with incredible strength. If you get the chance, come out and see him. He’ll be playing around the Valley later this March after his chemo treatments. Let’s show up and support an amazing musician and a true fighter. 🎸💜

We will be attending the show in Awhatukee Cactus Jack’s Ahwatukee Tavern

Celebrating Women in Construction Week the real way 😂
I told my husband he could either repair the stucco or cut the grass?
He picked the grass.
So here I am… fixing the stucco. 😂
Turns out the electrician knows a few other trades too.

Moral of the story, never give your partner/spouse options. Hahahaha……

Ps…. His mowing looks similar to his vacuuming 😁🥰.

We hiked the Cholla Trail on Camelback Mountain and now feel officially complete
🥾 ⛰️, we could not hike one trail and not the other. 😂

With about 1,300 feet of elevation gain in just 1.5 miles to the summit, this trail definitely challenged us with steep climbs and amazing views along the way.

Camelback stands at 2,704 feet, making it one of the toughest and most popular hikes in the Valley.

Now we can proudly say we’ve accomplished both Camelback trails, different challenges, same incredible reward at the top.

🥾🌄 We hiked the Camelback Mountain Echo Canyon Trail and what an adventure.

This hike is no joke. The Echo Canyon Trail climbs about 1,280 feet in elevation over roughly 1.2 miles to the summit, making it one of the most challenging and rewarding hikes in the Phoenix area. The steep sections and rock scrambling definitely get your heart pumping, but the views at the top are absolutely worth it.

The elevation gain on this hike is almost the same as climbing the Empire State Building, which stands about 1,250 feet to the roof. So basically, we climbed the height of an iconic skyscraper😄.

Grateful for the fresh air, the challenge, and another Arizona adventure in the books. If you’re thinking about trying it, bring water, good shoes, and determination.

Happy Birthday to my amazing sister Carrie Pipp.🎉💛 My Sister, thank you for always being up for adventure, laughter, and making memories that last a lifetime. Here’s to more road trips, hikes, and exploring together. Love you so much, Happy Birthday. 🎂🥳
Getting to celebrate you while exploring Carlsbad Caverns National Park made the day even more unforgettable.

We walked all the way down into the cavern together and wow, pictures truly don’t do it justice. Every turn felt like stepping into another world.

Fun facts we learned along the way:
The cavern was formed over millions of years by sulfuric acid dissolving limestone, not just water like most caves.
🦇 It’s home to hundreds of thousands of bats that fly out at sunset during certain times of the year.
⬇️ The Natural Entrance trail drops about 750 feet underground, basically like walking down a 75-story building.
💡 The famous “Big Room” is one of the largest cave chambers in North America.

Soaking it all in at Faywood Hot Springs ♨️🌵
Peaceful desert views, natural hot mineral water, and pure relaxation under the New Mexico sky. Definitely a hidden gem worth the stop. Faywood also offers cabins, camping spots and casitas. Super FUN 🤩.

💦🏞️ Chasing waterfalls at 7 Falls, Sabino Canyon.
We hiked 7 miles round trip through the Sonoran Desert to reach the waterfalls and dipped into the pool, it was so refreshing.😅 Adventure and laughs guaranteed.😁🙌

Thank you Brothers, Sisters and Friends who showed up, walked together, and took part in the MLK Walk and festivities. Your energy and unity truly honored Dr. King’s legacy. Seeing our community come together in service and love was inspiring.
✊🏽✊🏿✊🏻✊🏼✊🤎💛🖤🩵

BIG shout out to the officers who helped keep everyone safe throughout the event❤️‍🔥.

💡 Fun Fact, MLK Day is the only federal holiday recognized as a National Day of Service, encouraging action through service.

💀🥀Jump for Joy 🥀💀

Bob Weir didn’t just play music, he helped build a living, breathing culture. From the Grateful Dead to a lifetime of fearless creativity, his rhythm guitar, harmonies, and cowboy spirit expanded what rock music could be. Still roaming, still curious, still reminding us the music never stops. 🌹🎸 RIP to a true legend. My heart is heavy, but the music lives on, forever echoing in my soul. 🎶💔

💧 Homeowner win of the week🙌🏼.
Our water heater decided to quit on us 😅 but turns out it still had 4 months left on the warranty and they gave us all our money back💰🙌.
Mechanical installation, under 30 minutes.
Hooking the smart water heater to the internet, most of the day. ⏰😂
Now I’m just waiting for it to start judging how long my showers are. 🤖🚿👀
