The 2022 DDWC is fast approaching, and the excitement is building for the Golden Paws Awards and especially for the Youth Recognition Awards.

Our Sanctioned Facilities and youth handlers knocked it out of the park this year with fund raising, thank you to everyone that supported these awards.

DockDogs® is committed to supporting the youths in our community, as they are our future. To this end the 2019 DockDogs® Rules Committee was established to recognize our Youth Handlers.

Outstanding Youth
Open to Youths age 12 and under.
This award wil be presented at the Golden Paws Gala. Winner will receive $500 (non-expiring) DockDogs Credits.

Outstanding Teen
Open to Youths age 13-18.
This award will be presented at the Golden Paws Gala. Winner will receive $1,000 scholarship.

Congratulations to Holly and Enzo on their first DockDogs competition and especially for a successful Speed Retrieve grab! It won't be long until Enzo is proficient in all 3 disciplines!!! 😎

It takes a lot to set up and tear down the pool and dock for an event. The Surprise Party was no different. We started Friday morning and quickly and efficiently set up the pool with the coordination of the fabulous Arizona Dock Dogs club members: Rick Nielsen, Calviston Steele, Charlene Cullins, Scott Nagy, Laura Nagy, Rick Biers, Roberta Voss, and the incomparable Tracy Burlingame and Vince Gonzales.

Normally we would take the pool down on Saturday after the event but the equipment had other ideas. So although 15 club members stuck around to help with tear down - it was a no go until late Sunday. With help from Chris, Randon, Alex, Rick and Roberta - Vince was finally able to pull out of the park at 7:00 this evening. It was a long day of challenges that everyone handled gracefully. Thanks to one and all.

Congratulations to Cia Fruitman's Lexi on her first complete Iron Dog score! Lexi also achieved a new personal best in Big Air. Way to go!!! 😃
