Missing working with clients and shooting all the gorgeous moments! The pandemic has stalled a lot this year including my pursuit of photography. Taking baby steps to jump back in to the photography world! Snapped this while third shooting with pre-pandemic. Hoping to build back up that momentum slow and steady . 🐢

My sweet sweet girls!!! Olivia turned 1 on Wednesday and I can’t get over it! Guys seriously that first year flew by! We had a low key birthday for her with a cake, cuddles and family time.
One thing I can say for her is that she absolutely LOVES chocolate! We took a trip to the store and picked it out. There was adorable cake with pastel sprinkles that I choose and she shook her head. So I picked up the chocolate cake and she did a VERY enthusiastic head nod along with a happy dance in her seat. Pure excitement!!
And let’s just say the cake face pictures that ensued are absolutely everything!!!! You can bet I’m holding onto them for when she’s older to show ALL the boys! Swipe to see my favorite one!! 🤪🎂

Missing the beach today...

May the Fourth be with you! I have spent my Star Wars day rocking my retro Star Wars tee and marathoning the movies and eating good food. Star Wars is kind of a big deal in our house (all three of our dogs are named after characters 🥰).
Not all people can relate to our Star Wars obsession and that’s totally okay. But when you get to photograph a wedding and you see hints of the famous franchise in the table decor, flowers, cake topper and even the grooms ring... you know you have found your people!
I mean his ring has the Battle of Hoth on it! I mean come on!! Haha Okay okay geek rant over! 🤣

Been thinking a lot lately about what this whole social distancing and life in a pandemic will mean for us as humans. And I have finally settled on this and it has kept me strong when I get bombarded with scary information.
“Let my faith be greater then my fear" to many times have I tried to control things or overthink things in my life instead of trusting in God and his work. Through all this fear and pain I refuse to still sit in the dark trying to manipulate what is in front of me to be more bearable or less scary. Instead I am embracing it all and having faith that God will protect and teach us through this.
The world is definitely a place filled with a lot of uncertainty right now and it easy to get wrapped up in it all. I pray that as humans we don’t sit in the dark and fear and I pray we stumble to find the hope and the light. I pray for all of you to choose the positive over the negative, the light over the dark and the faith over the fear. Because friends God is working and growing and shaping our world through this. All things work for good. Stay healthy stay strong xoxo

Who else is Netflix binging during quarantine??? Right now I’m loving “ Love is Blind” a reality show about people who get to know the love of their life by voice and personality only. After getting engaged and seeing each other for the first time they head to a romantic getaway before the wedding only for more chaos to insue. 😬
I’m only a little ways into it and you guys...I can’t stop watching! I’m not even a reality tv person and I’m addicted! What are some other good shows to binge on Netflix, because Lord knows I’m going to need something else soon!! 🤣
