PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a powerful HIV prevention tool for people who may be at risk of HIV exposure.
Think of PrEP like birth control for HIV prevention. Just as birth control helps prevent pregnancy before it happens, PrEP helps prevent HIV before exposure occurs. When taken as prescribed, PrEP can reduce the risk of getting HIV by about 99%.
Talk with a healthcare provider to learn if PrEP may be right for you.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the strength, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history.
At Aunt Rita's Foundation, we recognize that health equity, access to care, and social justice are deeply connected. We remain committed to supporting communities through education, prevention, and access to resources while working toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Today, we celebrate freedom, reflect on our shared history, and recommit ourselves to building stronger, healthier, and more equitable communities.

Knowing your HIV status is one of the most important steps you can take for your health. HIV testing is quick, confidential, and widely available. Early diagnosis helps people access treatment sooner and stay healthy.

A small gift can make a life-changing impact.
Did you know that a gift of just $50 can help provide an HIV test for an Arizonan?
Knowing your status is the first step toward prevention, treatment, and better health outcomes. Through our Summer of Prevention campaign, your support helps connect people to testing, education, and critical resources across Arizona.
Every test opens the door to information, support, and care.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we kicked off Aunt Rita's 88-day Summer of Prevention campaign by raising more than $12,000 at Bake Sale Bingo. Now, we're building on that momentum to expand HIV prevention, testing, education, and support services throughout Arizona.
For the next 88 days, we're honoring Aunt Rita's legacy by raising funds to expand HIV prevention, testing, education, and support services throughout our state.
A gift of just $50 helps provide an HIV test for an Arizonan, connecting them to critical prevention resources and care.
As funding for HIV programs continues to decline, community support has never been more important. Together, we can help more people know their status, access prevention tools, and build healthier communities across Arizona.
π Join us this summer and be part of the prevention movement.

π Aunt Rita's Foundation honors the life and legacy of Regina Wells, known to many as Regina Gazelle, "The Dancing Doll." π
A true trailblazer, advocate, entertainer, and community leader, Regina dedicated her life to uplifting others. Through her supportive housing program, This is H.O.W., she provided support, guidance, and hope to Trans individuals seeking a new beginning. Her philosophy of Honesty, Open-mindedness, and Willingness changed countless lives.
Regina also made history as the first transgender woman to serve as Co-Grand Marshal of the Phoenix Pride Parade and was recognized as ECHO Magazine's Woman of the Year. Yet her greatest gift was her ability to inspire others, making everyone she met feel valued, empowered, and capable of achieving more.
At Aunt Rita's Foundation, we are especially grateful for Regina's service as our 2022 AIDS Walk Arizona Co-Chair. Her passion, leadership, and commitment to our community helped further the fight against HIV and strengthen the lives of those around her.
Thank you, Regina, for your courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others. Your legacy lives on in every life you touched and every door you helped open.
