Well… this is awkward. As the person who usually writes these birthday posts, I now have to write one about myself. 😂🎂

For my Birthday Grant, I’ve chosen to support Bark Rescue , a no-kill rescue that gives countless animals a second chance at life. ❤️ From dogs and cats to other animals in need, BARK is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving forever homes for those who need it most. 🐶🐱🏡

I’m honored that Pops for Paws is donating $300 to BARK in celebration of my birthday. Supporting animals has always been what this is all about, and I’m grateful to be part of such an amazing community. 💙

🍔 Burger Update! 🐾

Burger was recently diagnosed with feline coronavirus, but he’s already started medication and should be feeling much better next week.

After one of our volunteers found him near a Burger King, Pops for Paws stepped in to help cover his medical care. Once he’s fully recovered, he’ll be ready for vaccinations and neuter surgery through Dr. Kelly’s.

While our Medical Grant Program is primarily focused on helping keep pets in their homes and out of shelters, we’re always grateful when we’re able to help a little rescue like Burger too.

Send Burger some love as he continues healing! ❤️

🐾 Sophia’s spay surgery is complete! 🐾

When Fur The Paws learned about a family needing assistance with veterinary care, they reached out to Pops for Paws for help.

Pops for Paws was able to fully sponsor Sophia’s spay surgery, helping her stay healthy while preventing future litters.

A special thank you to Dr. Kelly’s Surgical Unit for partnering with us to provide these surgeries at a discounted rate, allowing donor dollars to help even more pets in our community.

This is exactly what your support makes possible—helping families access needed care before challenges become crises and keeping more pets safe, healthy, and in their homes. ❤️

🐾 June Grant Recipient 🐾

This month, Pops for Paws Foundation is proud to award our $700 rescue grant to Desert Paws Rescue Cats! 💙🐱

Since 2008, Desert Paws Rescue has been giving cats a second chance by rescuing those at risk of entering high-kill shelters and pulling cats from shelters that might otherwise face euthanasia. Through loving foster homes, medical care, and dedicated volunteers, they help some of the most vulnerable cats find the forever families they deserve.

They are especially known for stepping up for cats that others may overlook, including Ringworm+, FIV+, and FeLV+ cats, ensuring they get the care and opportunity they need to thrive.

Beyond rescue, Desert Paws is committed to educating the community about the importance of spay and neuter, helping address Arizona’s homeless pet crisis at its source.

We are honored to support their lifesaving work and grateful to our supporters who make grants like this possible every month. 🐾💖

🍔 Little Burger needs a little help 🍔

We found this tiny guy behind a Burger King in the bushes — just 1.5 lbs and already having a rough start. Since coming into care, he’s been dealing with nonstop diarrhea that we just can’t seem to get ahead of.

He’s already had a vet visit, a f***l test (that came back normal), food changes, and probiotics… and nothing has fixed it yet. Poor guy just isn’t feeling good. 💔

Tomorrow we’re sending in another sample for a much more in-depth f***l test to try and finally get some answers. Even then, we may still be looking for answers after that — but we’re not giving up on him.

Meet Roxy, Tyberyus, and Rex — a family we are proud to sponsor through our spay and neuter assistance program.

Roxy previously had a litter where only 3 puppies survived after battling parvo. Two of those puppies were adopted through rescue, and one stayed with mom — Rex.
