Has anyone ever said to you, "You act just like your dad or mom"?
It may not be something you want to hear, but in some ways it may be true.
As we develop through our childhood and our teen years the most common response for all of us is to focus on the weaknesses of our parents or those who are raising us. We naturally focus on the things we don't like about them and as a result, we adapt to their weaknesses and those weaknesses become part of our personality.
When I trace the "Rejection Syndrome" in a person's life, without fail, the focus is always on the weaknesses of those who were in authority over them.
This video will illustrate how this emotional focus is developed in your early childhood years and carried over into your adult relationships.

Who's acceptance are you trying to gain?
Why are you concerned about what others think of you?
It may be that you are a rejection ju**ie. In my book, "Rejection Ju**ies" I wrote the poem titled The Tap Dancer. Here are just a few lines for you.
Tap dancing on the table tops of other people's lives,
A Rejection Ju**ie's 'Performance Trip,' that's how he thrives.
He says: "Let me entertain you. Let me be your friend.
Let me prove to all of you that liking me is "in."
I can do the shuffle, I can do the swing.
I'll do the boogie-woogie and for you, I'll even sing!
I'll go for you, I'll do for you anything you want.
I just need to gain acceptance, how's that for being blunt?"

It's been said, "Repetition is the greatest teacher or the greatest torture".

I believe that everyone needs coaching to guide themselves to experience a life of freedom mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially. Consider this: Successful people are not people without problems, they are people who have learned to solve their problems. It's been said that wisdom and age come together but sadly, that's not true. More often than not, age usually comes all by itself.
The Scriptures say, "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning." Proverbs 9:9
Whether you are married, single or divorced and no matter your problem there is a solution to your situation. Maybe now is the time to take some time from making a living and make a life.

Happy Day After Valentines Day!
Go buy some candy half off. Smile. Enjoy today and look forward to tomorrow.
However...let's do some retrospect. Did yesterday stir up "all the feels"? Did you experience everything from anger to joy, fear to inferiority, inadequacy to insecurity, love to hate, hurt to numbness?
You might have a lot of 'stuff' going on there. So what do you do? What is happening? Why can't you just be happy? Am I ever going to understand peace and contentment?
It is possible to figure out all the answers to those questions...you gotta get to the root cause. Stop looking at the symptoms. Are you ready to put in a little hard work, ok maybe a lot - depends on you.

Most of us probably haven't thought about "it" in this term. Rejection. Have I ever been rejected? Yes! Yes, I have.
There are two types of rejection: overt and covert.
OVERT rejection may come in the form of aggressive criticism, name-calling, hitting or dirty looks.
COVERT rejection is typically more indirect or less obvious. Subtle acts of avoidance, lack of physical touch, or living in emotional chaos.
Grab a copy of Dr. G's book "Rejection Ju**ies" Overcoming the ADDICTION Everyone Suffers and study yourself. Think about your answers to examples given in chapter 8.
