Along with important topics at the show briefing at 4:00pm under the grandstands will be a mention about our Area X ARP TEAM CHALLENGE.

It’s easy to play & sign-up.
Here’s how it works:

1. Your show rides count as your score. (No additional tests or rounds.)
2. You must be a current 2026 ARP Member. Usually, this Challenge is just for Area X, but since we have several folks from out of area [& it’s more fun when we can all play], I’m opening it up to all current ARP Members.
3. Four people max per team. I will drop the highest penalty score, but you must finish with at least 3 numbered scores for possible ribbons/prizes. (If you have more than one horse, you will need to be on different teams.)
4. One professional max per team.
5. Scramble divisions & levels. (Mix & match or all the same)
5. Ribbons & prizes awarded from 1st through 5th place.
6. $10 per person. Cash, check, Venmo or Zelle. All proceeds go to Area X ARP.

It’s the annual photo of the messy table pre-ARP Team Challenge! I know you all were waiting for me to post about it. lol

This year, I wanted to add something a little different for our members. (Don’t worry, ribbons & prizes from 1st through 5th place are still being awarded. They’re somewhere in that chaos.)

I have quite a few random odds & ends that don’t really make the “prize” cut, but someone might enjoy/need.
How should I give these things away? Items vary from shirts to tchotchkes, tumblers to grain scoopers.

Current Area X Adult Rider Program members only. Must be present for Coconino Summer I HT.
