Such a fun night at Second Saturdays! 😃😁 The evening started off a little stressful because we arrived late for setup 😅 But thankfully everything came together, and I actually ended up loving our new booth location because I got to hang paintings on the outside of my tent too which made the whole set up feel bigger and more open.

The night started slow, but really picked up later on, and I’m so grateful to everyone who stopped by, connected with my work, followed me online, or took home a piece of art. Your support truly means so much to me. ❤️🙏🏽

One of the most special parts of the night was selling some of my older paintings from the beginning of my art journey. It feels really meaningful knowing they finally found homes 🥹

This will probably be my last outdoor show for a while because the Arizona heat is brutal ☀️ But I’m hoping to find some indoor events this summer. Either way, I’ll keep sharing updates here 😊❤️

I’m still taking this all in… 😌 I applied to the Artist Call again this year, and I’m so grateful to have been selected alongside 15 incredibly talented artists, and even more honored to have received 2nd place! 🎉🥈😃😁✨️

This show is always really meaningful to me. As a q***r artist, having spaces like this that celebrate identity, expression, and community matters so much. It pushes me to create something new each year that feels honest, powerful, and true to who I am.

The whole experience was just… really special. Getting to meet the other artists, share ideas, learn from each other, and just exist in such an open, welcoming, and supportive space felt so good. 😊 Truly the best kind of energy.

I left feeling inspired, grateful, and already excited for what next year might bring 🫶✨

These photos show just a small part of the process. From transferring the drawing onto the canvas to slowly building up each section with layer after layer of paint. My unique color block style takes a lot of patience and attention to detail.

This piece was built intentionally, one section at a time. Starting with a gray paint pour for the background. Then adding subtle splatters of rainbow colors before painting the color block person on top.
