TURBO or SUPERCHARGER?
Turbochargers generally make more peak horsepower because they do not rob the engine of mechanical power to operate. However, superchargers produce more immediate, linear torque at low RPMs because they are mechanically connected to the engine, avoiding the lag a turbo requires to spool. 🏁

People often mistake Memorial Day for Veterans Day because both honor U.S. military personnel.
Memorial Day is specifically a solemn day to remember and mourn the service members who died while serving (especially in battle), while Veterans Day is a celebration to thank all living and past veterans for their service.

Why Dyno Tuning Matters..... Maximized Power.
No matter how many performance parts you add, your car won’t achieve its full potential without proper calibration.
Dyno tuning allows us to adjust fuel and ignition settings to optimize horsepower and torque. At Loper's Performance Center, we’ve seen builds gain significant performance improvements after just a single dyno session.

Benefits Beyond Performance
Dyno tuning isn’t just about power—it can also improve fuel efficiency, reduce wear on engine components, and extend the life of aftermarket modifications. By dialing in the optimal settings, you ensure that your performance parts operate as intended, which can save you money and prevent costly repairs down the line.

🔥🔥 It Looks Like Summer has Arrived! 🔥🔥
As you may or may not know... Hotter air is less dense, requiring smaller jets (leaner), while colder air is denser and requires larger jets (richer). A common rule is to change one jet size for every 20 degree F change in temperature.

➡️ Does a Performance Exhaust Increase Gas Mileage?
In many cases, yes, a performance exhaust can lead to better fuel efficiency. By reducing exhaust backpressure, your engine doesn’t have to work as hard to expel gases, which can improve overall engine efficiency. Improvements in fuel economy are often more noticeable during highway driving, and won't be noticeable in stop-and-go traffic. Keep in mind that aggressive driving or high RPMs may negate any fuel efficiency gains.

➡️ Does a Performance Exhaust Add Horsepower?
Yes, performance exhaust systems can add anywhere from 5 to 20 horsepower depending on the vehicle and exhaust design. For more significant power gains, consider pairing a performance exhaust with other performance mods, such as a cold air intake, turbocharger, or tuning adjustments. When combined, these mods can make a much larger impact on overall performance.

➡️ How Much Horsepower Does a Performance Exhaust Add?
The horsepower gain from a performance exhaust system varies greatly depending on the vehicle. On average, most drivers can expect an increase of around 5 to 15 horsepower. For larger or more powerful vehicles like trucks or sports cars, the increase could be more substantial, sometimes reaching up to 20 horsepower or more.
