Couture 2022 Sneak Peek… 👀 See you tonight! ✨

Throwback to the Petals + Products event at Atmosphere in May. We learned how to arrange and care for live flowers. How fun! 💐

We are excited to share a public art installation project we have been working on, proposed for the city of Scottsdale. The artwork is inspired by dynamic movement, the bucking bronco that is synonymous with the city's identity, capturing its abstract shape. The public will be able to pass beneath the object into each identified district the form sits atop, creating a new, iconic gateway to the city.

How do our designers model such complex and unique geometry? We use software that does not place limits on their imagination. Using parametric design algorithms and Grasshopper 3D, a script is generated of multiple parameters linked together to create a unique form. This can be altered and changed in any way within the established parameters which allows our team to iterate quickly and see the design changes in real time.

At Krause we are in continuous pursuit to close the gap between ideation and ex*****on for our clients. One such example is our early adoption of machine learning technology to provide daylighting analysis and sustainability techniques for our partners in real-time. In the series of photos below, an ongoing project, we analyze new strategies to provide live data as to how the design performs in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Analyzing energy usage, daylighting factors, construction costs, and carbon emissions go hand in hand with the craft of each of our designs as we strive for a more sustainable future.

Project ! Here we explored the client's wish to build a community space combined with a restaurant. We loved working on this and are excited to continue to design more!
