Findings from this study can be used to implement policy change to better accommodate food access.

Summer is approaching and spending time outside is a great way to be physically active, reduce stress, and get vitamin D! While outside this summer, it is important to protect your skin from the sun in order to reduce your risk of skin cancer. Most skin cancers are caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light that can damage skin cells. Some ways your can protect your skin from the sun are by the following:
1. Clothing – light weight and breathable long sleeved shirts and pants can provide UV protection
2. Hats- hats with an all-around brim are the best!
3. Sunglasses- sunglasses protect your eyes from UV rays and reduce the risk of cataracts
4. Sunscreen- sunscreen blocks harmful sun rays and should be worn daily! The CDC recommends the use of a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 15 of higher

Hello all and happy holidays! Our FEAST team would like to invite you to take part in a research study if you have been living with a mobility impairment for at least one year during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, are 18 years or older, have a working mobile phone and computer with internet access, and have an e-mail account. The goal of this research study is to follow a panel of 500 people with mobility impairments who will help inform us about best practice guidelines for diagnostic services such as testing, follow-up care, and vaccine preparedness. Participants will have a chance to receive a $5 gift code for completing each of the individual surveys, and then get a bonus ($10 gift code) if they complete the first 3 and another bonus if they complete all four ($10 gift code). Also, those who complete all four will be eligible to win an even bigger bonus of a $50 gift code, in a drawing! If you are interested send us a direct message or email us at [email protected]
