Never forget.

I remember waking up right after tower one was hit, watching flight 175 hit tower two on live tv. I rember seeing the crashers of flight 77 and 93. The horrors of watching people jump from both towers. I was 12 year old, had barely started sixth grade. I didn't truly comprehend what I was watching unfold before my very eyes.I remember hearing that friends dads were called in for orders. Some never to return.

I rember seeing my fellow Americans come together. For the first and only time in my life, there was no Democrats, there were no Republicans. There was only Americans.

Ok this day we remember all those who were lost. The Father's, the Mothers, brothers and sisters.

Let us never forget

On June 6, 1944, thousands of brave American soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy into the face of hell itself. Under relentless fire, they charged forward with unwavering courage, determination, and love for their country. Many never made it off those sands, but their sacrifice helped turn the tide of World War II and secure freedom for millions.Today we honor the Greatest Generation — the young men who stared down tyranny and refused to blink. Their heroism on Omaha, Utah, and the other beaches will never be forgotten.Thank you for your service. You are the reason we stand free.

Nothing like a little torch braising to get your morning going.
