We are so lucky we get to see owls here in Arizona but being this close with one and looking at every detail on his face his eyes, feathers 🪶 just no words to explain it.. I was having my own moment there 🥺🤎 and one more reason to love San Diego! Can’t wait to go back and do the Hawk walk !!

7️⃣ On the seventh day of Christmas, Arizona gave to me… seven saguaros standing! 🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵 The #saguaro cactus is a true desert icon that has many amazing adaptations that help the plant thrive in the desert. Its woody ribs allow the saguaro to store massive amounts of water, its shallow but wide-reaching root system allows it to quickly soak up moisture, and its spines are modified leaves that reduce evaporation while protecting the plant from predators.
