After my divorce from Peter, I came home to my apartment and froze. My shower cabin was sitting in the hallway with a big “Peter’s property” sticker on it. My heart sank.
I walked inside and heard ripping sounds. Turning the corner, I saw Lorraine—my ex-MIL—tearing down the wallpaper. She muttered, “This is all my son’s work. He put up the wallpaper, so it’s his to take down. And this shower cabin? We’re not leaving anything behind for you.”
I stood there, in shock, tears welling up. I didn’t have the strength to stop her. Peter and his mother had already drained me emotionally, and now they were taking everything.
But at that moment, I didn't know that fate would punish them instead of me doing it. The next day, a hysterical Lorraine ran to my apartment pale and shaking and started begging: "I'll give you anything. Just SAVE HIM!" ⬇️
