Huge shoutout to our newest Open Water divers who absolutely crushed it this weekend with Salt and Sea Scuba! From those first breaths underwater to mastering every skill with confidence, this crew showed up ready to work — and they delivered.
They pushed through nerves, dialed in their buoyancy, supported each other like champs, and brought nothing but good vibes to every dive. Watching their progress from day one to certification was the kind of reminder we love: the ocean rewards passion, patience, and a little bit of grit.
Now they’re officially part of the Salt and Sea Scuba family, and we couldn’t be prouder. The underwater world just gained a group of absolute rockstars.

We’re headed to the Philippines next year!
2 different trips, 2 different islands, 2 different seasons, 2 different ways to experience the incredible sea life in the Philippines.
Join us in April 2027 in Puerto Galera with . Known for its warm, clear tropical waters, colorful coral reefs, and abundant marine life, including reef fish, sea turtles, nudibranchs, and occasional larger pelagic species. The area offers everything from gentle coral gardens for beginners to drift dives and underwater canyons for more experienced divers.
October we head to Dauin to dive with for Octopus season! Diving in Dauin offers excellent opportunities to spot octopuses, especially coconut octopuses and mimic octopuses, on the area’s famous black-sand muck diving sites. Warm water, relatively calm conditions, and the incredible diversity of unusual critters make October a great time for underwater photographers and marine-life enthusiasts exploring the reefs and sandy slopes along the coast.
