🔹 I'm fascinated by color psychology. I think it's so interesting how colors can affect our feelings and perceptions of something.

🔹 That said, it's really important to consider which colors are used in your business branding because you want to make sure you're giving off the right message and vibe to your customers!

🔹 So, each month we'll highlight the psychology of a different color. This month, let's talk about light blue.

🔹 Light blue is very much associated with nature and the weather. Just think about the sea and the sky! 🌊❄️ This association is linked to feelings of calmness, peace of mind, freshness, and creativity.

🔹 Blue is also the favorite color of most people, which lends itself to being viewed as trustworthy, non-confrontational, and non-threatening.

🔹 It's one of the least appetizing colors (perhaps because blue is rarely found naturally in foods) so maybe think twice about choosing light blue to represent your food blog! 🥣

🔹 However, if you're in an industry such as healthcare, wellness or marketing, light blue would make a great choice!

🔹 For wellness 🛁 and healthcare 🩺 brands, light blue can evoke feelings of calmness, tranquility, and relaxation, which is super important in those industries.

🔹 As far as marketing, light blue can help build trust between you and your customers!

I love Wix's Mobile Editor because it allows you to curate exactly what's shown on the mobile version of your site. You can remove certain elements (like vector art, for example) if you find they're too distracting on the mobile version, all without changing the desktop version of your site at all!

I started RTD Co. because I'm obsessed with the idea of working for myself and even more obsessed with helping other women work for themselves, too. My website templates are super easy-to-use and super easy-to-customize so you can take the guesswork out of launching a website for your business. But enough about that!

Time to highlight some Wix font pairings!

These six font pairings are modern and versatile enough for practically any brand. Notice that the headings are capitalized - changing the capitalization of a heading font is a great way to make it look more authoritative or bold!

Also, I adjusted the character spacing of all the heading and paragraph fonts shown here. Making the character spacing bigger is one of my favorite ways to make a font more readable and also look more modern!

Who else is guilty of waiting until absolutely everything is perfect before they start something? 🙋‍♀️

Like, I'm the type of person that loves to have a clean kitchen, the perfect playlist on, and a glass of wine ready to rock before I start cooking dinner 😂

But when it comes to bigger things, oh you know, like, following your dreams, there will never be "just the right time" to start. Because you'll find excuse after excuse as to why the time isn't right. (Trust me, I know from experience).

I used to think I needed to know everything about everything before starting a new idea or passion project. I wanted it to be perfect the first time. I didn't want to look like an amateur. But truthfully, no matter how much you think you've prepared and how much you think you know, you'll never be ready enough.

There's always more to learn and always something unexpected that will come up. The trick is to just start. 💛

Work from home all day, everyday. Except you're working for yourself and not working hard to make somebody ELSE'S dream come true. 🙌
