Going on a field trip can be a great way to integrate history, science and careers. And their trip to the Martin Auto Museum in Glendale was just that for our 7th graders. Who knows? Maybe some of them will choose this for a career path. Kudos and thanks to the founders and staff of this amazing museum. Your work definitely made a positive impression on our students. #martinautomuseum #schoolfieldtrips #historyfieldtrips #charterschools #greatfieldtripsinglendale #maryvale #fieldtripsmatter

Project Presentations are part of our Home-School bridge: Parents coming to school to hear their students explain and see them demonstrate what they studied and learned for the quarter. Lots of learning. Lots of smiles. Lots of positive energy. We're so grateful to our parents for their involvement in their student's education. It matters! #parentinvolvement #studentprojects #ACCLAIMprojectpresentations #parentsandstudents #homeschoolbridge #charterschools #maryvale

Today is the first day of Fall! To celebrate the day, students had a Special Dress Day: Autumn Colors. It's fun to see the variety of colors and styles the students wear...and to feel the positive vibe around the school. Just over a week until Fall Break! We're in the final stretch of end of quarter testing and grades. We look forward to seeing parents at conferences on Friday, Oct. 2! #fallishere #fallcolors #falldressup #specialdressday #charterschools #maryvale

It's that time of the quarter: Field Trips! First graders went to an historic building to see an adaptation of a story they had studied: The Tortoise and the Hare. Great venue. Great presentation. Great weather. We're grateful to be able to offer field trips to students twice a year. They are a great way to anchor learning and have new experiences off campus. Stay tuned for more next week! #fieldtripsmatter #studentfieldtrips #greatarizonapuppetheater #firstgradefieldtrips #charterschools #maryvale

Every year we offer field trips to colleges to as many grade levels as we can. It helps students to begin to visualize this as part of their future...if that's the path they want to take. It's a new experience for so many of them, and a memorable one. Building the foundation for the future. It's what we do. #schoolfieldtrips #phoenixcollege #studentsvisitingcolleges #southmuntaincommunitycollege #charterschools #maryvale #fieldtripsmatter

Whether in the physical world, in our experiences, or among people, recognizing and valuing the beauty in diversity results in a richer life experience. It also helps us build the path toward peace. We work on that every day at ACCLAIM Academy. Want that for your child? Recognizing that we are all part of a team, the first virtue of the year was "Unity".
Every day begins with a lesson on the Virtue of the Week.
And this being the only Friday of classes for the year, we celebrated both that and Unity by wearing shirts of a Team we are on or a Team we like.
Together We Are Better!
Want your child to develop these character virtues?
Give us a call: 623-691-0919.

We're so grateful to our school community for all their support as we enter our 30th year. The world has changed a lot since 1997! And we continue to learn and grow with the times. What is still the same at ACCLAIM is the love and excellence our staff bring to the students every day. If you know someone who would like to be part of the ACCLAIM family, tell them about us! We're still accepting new students...and thank you! #back to school #welcomeback #newschoolyear #charterschools #maryvale #enrollnow #we'reback
