Who wants to go to Five Finger Death Punch for free? Come learn how to get these tickets!
I wrote this article on my Substack as a means to help someone out there who might be struggling. It's based on my personal perspective and on what I did to overcome one of the many obstacles that I'm still working on to this day.

I won’t be able to make this, but I’m sharing because it is actually something important to me. I’ve been through my own s**t and I went through a lot alone before I could figure out that doing it alone is much harder than seeking support.
Men’s mental health is just as important because we tend to bottle so much up to the point that it’s too heavy.
Share this to your timeline to put it in front of someone who might not be speaking up.
This morning got heavy.
Luke Kayyem came on Holmberg's Morning Sickness on 98 KUPD to talk about men's mental health. And John opened up about something he'd been sitting with for a year. A separation nobody knew about. He came in every day, did the show, laughed at the fart jokes, and didn't say a word.
Because that's the move, right? You go home. You close the door. You don't answer the phone. You tell yourself you're fine and you just kind of... disappear into it.
The emails started coming in before they were even off the air. Guys saying this is me.
Luke said something simple that stuck: freedom is on the other side of sharing.
So if you're sitting in that right now, just try one thing. Don't ask the people around you how they're doing. Ask how they're feeling. It's a small shift. It isn't small at all.
And if it's gotten darker than that, call or text 988. Someone picks up.
Walk and Talk is May 3rd, Sunday morning, 8am in Scottsdale. Ten miles, free, no pressure. Just guys showing up.

Just a little humble brag for a Monday.
Don’t consider myself a legend but I’ll take it. 🙏

Hey guys, there isn't going to be live video tonight. I'm sorry about that! Facebook isn't letting me broadcast at all for some reason. If I can get on in the next few minutes, I will but it's not going to happen. I switched over from Wi-Fi to my phone and it won't let me do anything.
Too bad because I wanted to catch all of you guys up! Anyway I hope you guys have a great night and we'll see you next Thursday if Facebook lets me go live
I have some Breaking Benjamin tickets I want to give out tonight so will you be the one that wins them? Also come say hi !!

Hi guys, just wanted to give an update real quick. I had an emergency that I had to tend to on Thursday just as I signed onto the radio to do my first break. It required me to literally pick up and go out of town.
I had so many plans for the Easter Keg Hunt for social media but it was impossible for me to be around.
The team at KUPD did a great job streaming and posting what they could. I’m appreciative of everyone who stepped up to help reassign my kegs to someone else and do the social media. Thanks Amee. ☀️
I’m still out of town but will be back on the air on Tuesday afternoon. All is okay here, just need to perform those adult duties.
I hope you all had a great Easter Keg Hunt and a Happy Easter with your loved ones.
And congratulations to Valerie Dennison who got the $20k!
See you soon. ✌️
Shan
P.S. Here’s a pic I took on Thursday morning that was going to be a part of a series of posts leading up to Friday morning.

Last night at the Bad Omens show at Desert Diamond Arena on the suite level. While hanging out I had a reunion with long time listener, Natresse and met her friend. 😎
It was good to catch up with them for a bit. Afterwards, I made my way down to Section 113 to watch the show with listener Amanda Branum. What a great night!

I just talked about this yesterday on the air and how it was reported he was in good spirits after an incident in Hawaii.
It’s sad to wake up to this today.
