Got doubts? Got questions? “Let’s Get Real” is our mantra at Saguaro Roots Spiritual Direction. We believe that your doubts and questions are PART of your faith, not separate from it. We long for people to receive our invitation to come exactly where you are. You do not need to agree with a particular creed or statement of faith. You are loved. You are accepted. You are a child of The Beloved.

"New Breath", a new offering through the partnership of spiritual director Jen Eckles and the Eremos Community on Mighty Networks is coming soon!

The New Breath retreat focuses on opening to the Oneness and presence of God in daily life through meditative prayer practice.

Participants will learn to sit quietly with God as the Spirit lives and flows and acts among us in our daily lives.

A quiet space with the Beloved refreshes the soul.

The month of May brings new spiritual practices for me. Yoga and Smudging. Smudging is a Universal practice known to religions throughout the world. Buddhist temples use incense sticks, Catholic churches use Frankincense, Native Americans use sage and other herbs before every ceremony to be centred and focused for what follows. The smoke is 'washed' over the person or object. As a Jesus Follower, I pray before I practice and invite God into the space with me. I believe that there is a universal truth that runs through all the world’s religions. God is so big and will meet you there.
