Sol BJJ Class Schedule.

We had two semi-finalists at Pan Kids; Felix and Shiloh!

Felix had a standout season leading up to this event, winning both American Nationals and AZ State. He continued the aggressive Jiu Jitsu that led him to this tournament until he reached the semi-finals and had a barn-burner of a match there.

Shiloh’s season came with more adversity; fighting at the bottom of a new weight class and finding confidence in a new BJJ game after breaking her arm in a dance class last year. Despite the roadblocks placed in front of her, she worked hard all season to earn this placement.

When it comes to competition we focus on performance rather than outcome. We aren’t defined by our competitive results but by the choices we make on and off the mats. Both these kids came to fight and accomplished that mission. I couldn’t be more proud.

Our schedule has a few adjustments over the next week as Professor Austin and our Kids Competition Team head to Florida to compete at Kids Pans! 🥋🏆 Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to cheer them on!

• Adult evening class will be a Combined All Levels Class

📅 Friday 7/24
• No Kids Competition Class
• Adult No-Gi at 6:30pm is running as scheduled

📅 Saturday 7/25
• All Saturday classes are running as scheduled

📅 Monday 7/27
• Women’s Class at 6:30pm will be led by a guest instructor

📅 Tuesday 7/28
• Adult evening class will be a Combined All Levels Class

📅 Wednesday 7/29
• Women’s Class at 6:30pm will be led by a guest instructor

📅 Starting Saturday 8/1
• Our 9:00am class will become a Combined Parents & Kids Class (no longer a standalone Kids Class).

What’s your preference: Gi or NoGi? 🤔

At Sol, we offer both! NoGi classes are M-Th at 12pm, and Friday at 6:30pm. Gi classes are M-Th at 6:30pm, and Saturday at 10am. Come try a free class with us!

We have some students competing this weekend at AZBJJL! Classes on Saturday will still run as scheduled. If you don’t have any plans this weekend, come support our team!

Pre-competition nerves are real. Having a coach who knows exactly what to say (and when to say nothing at all) makes all the difference. At Sol, you’ll always have a coach in your corner. 💛

Competition weekend is approaching!

Our kids competition team and Professor Austin are headed to the LA Open for our final tournament before Kids Pans at the end of the month.

Every match is another opportunity to learn, grow, and gain experience. We’re excited to see our team out there representing Sol. Let’s go! 💪☀️
