PVSchools Governing Board President Tony Pantera () shares Marxist Holiday May Day post calling for 'no work' and 'no school', presumably calling on district staff to not come to work and students to not attend school. Pantera also shared a post calling for the killing of the President. This is NOT the conduct the community expects from a school board member. The Board should vote to remove Pantera as Board President and he should resign from the Board.

This is the same board member that is also a self declared nudist (see video).

Dear Pinnacle Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to share information regarding an upcoming student-led event on our campus. On Friday, April 24, the Club America student club will host a guest speaker, Ms. Erika Kirk, during the lunch period. Ms. Kirk will share her personal journey and life experiences with the club members.

This event is strictly optional for current club members, and their one invited Pinnacle High School student guest. It is not an assembly, nor is it open to the general student body or community.

While we do not typically send notifications regarding individual club speakers, I am sharing this to remain proactive and transparent. As a public institution, Pinnacle High School and the Paradise Valley Unified School District support a diverse range of student-led organizations. Under the Federal Equal Access Act and A.R.S. 15-720, student groups have the right to invite speakers and engage in activities that align with their interests. These laws ensure that all student clubs can exercise their First Amendment rights and freedom of speech in a fair and equitable manner.

To ensure the school day continues without disruption and to maintain a respectful learning environment for all, we will have an increased security presence on campus during the event.

Pinnacle High School remains committed to fostering an environment where students can explore various perspectives while learning the responsibilities that come with active citizenship. Our priority is to ensure that every student feels safe and supported while on our campus.

🚨 FAILED DEI HIRING FOR PVUSD SUPERINTENDENT
Paradise Valley Superintendent Todd Cummings was placed on paid administrative leave on Tuesday, September 30th. A closer look at Cummings’ past has led many to question why the district hired him in the first place.
Cummings is alleged to have misrepresented his qualifications on a resume submitted for a Superintendent position in Indiana and was at the center of a grade inflation scandal during his tenure there. He had been placed on administrative leave in February - months before accepting the superintendent position in Paradise Valley.

Despite this, Paradise Valley Governing Board President Anne Greenberg issued a letter to the community inaccurately stating that Cummings had retired from South Bend Community Schools.

Many parents remember the abrupt termination of then-Superintendent Jesse Welsh in December 2020, just a year after his hiring in 2019. Greenberg also served as Board President then. Welsh’s dismissal ultimately cost district taxpayers $413,378. Superintendent Cummings’ current contract, which includes a base salary of $230,000 per year, extends through June 2027 - prompting concerns that a potential early departure could again leave the district financially responsible for several hundred thousand dollars.
