Our Early Childhood Specialists (ECS) provide developmentally appropriate, therapeutic, and trauma-informed support for children birth through age seven and their caregivers.
Early Childhood Specialists focus on:
✔ Emotional regulation
✔ Social & developmental skills
✔ Strengthening the caregiver–child relationship
Early Childhood Specialists provide:
• Developmental assessments (birth–5)
• Caregiver education & psychoeducation
• In-the-moment coaching during real-life interactions
• Home-based support (in person, virtual, or phone)
Our goal is to ensure caregivers have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to promote secure attachment, healthy social-emotional development, and school readiness.

Take time this month to explore something you enjoy, go back to a forgotten hobby, or try something new with someone you care about!

Through the Touchstone Gives Back Initiative, Touchstone proudly supported students across the Litchfield Elementary School District with a Sensory Drive that created and distributed 50 sensory kits plus sensory-friendly resources for every campus.
This project was powered by youth leadership and creativity. Teen Outreach Program (TOP) Club participants helped create sensory items, design posters, lead social media campaigns, assemble kits, and personally decorate each one—truly youth supporting youth.
Each kit included handmade items and sensory tools like glitter bottles, puzzles, stress relievers, ear plugs, and therapeutic putty, thanks to donations from Touchstone and community members. Schools also received shared resources including weighted blankets, visual timers, wobble seats, and white noise machines to help create calmer, more inclusive learning environments.
Touchstone is honored to partner with students, schools, and community members to make a meaningful difference across the Valley.

National Pet Week is this week! It is also Mental Health Month, and we know that bonding with pets can have a positive effect on our mental health.

According to Mental Health America, out of those who have a pet:
80% reported their pets bring emotional support
55% attributed reduced anxiety and depression to their pets
