Scorpions, toads, snakes and leeches oh my! Some of the perks of the job! In addition to bee stings, electric shocks, & excessive heat of course. 🦂🐍🐝⚡️🐸🥵

The fountain was running slow and the pond was full of muck and debris from the recent storms.

We love this beautiful pond with large koi and a waterfall on each end. 🧡

Changed up the dye in this pond today. The darker blue looked nice, but I’m a sucker for the Caribbean blue. 🩵

Another successful pond transformation today! A picture of the pond green and mucky, then crystal clear, and finally after adding the blue dye. The blue dye is pretty but it also helps to keep the sun from penetrating the water and forming algae.

We completed another pond transformation yesterday and it looks amazing!

The collage is the before and after of the waterfall. Top picture: It was COVERED in algae. Bottom picture is after 3 hours of scrubbing.

The other pictures you can see the how dark brown & filthy the water was to start and now the water is crystal clear and you can even see the fish that were impossible to see before.

With all the rain this year, Phoenix is going to have A LOT of mosquitoes!😩🦟Mosquitoes like stagnant water so it’s important to make sure the water in your pond is constantly moving. You can add bubblers, fountains, waterfalls, spitters etc to prevent them from breeding in your pond. You can also get FREE gambusia(mosquito eating fish) from Maricopa County vector control.

-Mosquito-eating fish (Gambusia) are made available free of charge. To confirm availability and to schedule a pick-up during office hours (Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 5 pm) please call us at: (602) 506-0700.-

Nighttime shot of our pond and a close up of our fish. You can see hundreds of gambusia in our pond.
