Hello friends! Today is a very special day for us on two fronts! It's our two year Nomadversary, and we are leaving for Einstein's very first RV trip across the country! Two years ago today, we embarked on the journey of a lifetime! We gave up our Phoenix apartment and moved into our new Vanleigh Beacon full-time and never looked back! It's been two years full of every kind of emotion you can imagine and lots of adventures! We absolutely love this lifestyle and are blown away by the RV community! Ya'll are the BEST group of people George and I have ever met! We have met some amazing people these last few years, and we love you all! George, Einstein, and I want to thank you guys for your kindness and support on our journey! We appreciate you all so much! We recently had the opportunity to visit the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix,AZ, and it was incredible! Swipe to see all of the photos! We had wanted to go for a long time, but when we lived in Arizona, life always got in the way. So we made it a point to go and are so glad that we did! The Desert Botanical Garden is unique because it's all desert plants and cacti! Winter is a great time to visit and learn all about the local plants,flowers, trees, and cacti! This is an absolutely gorgeous place to explore, and everything is so tastefully done! We try to visit as many Botanical gardens as we can while on the road as well! It's such a fun way to see local beauty. We had an amazing day and really enjoyed the Desert Botanical Garden! This part of the trail is just as beautiful with the Arizona landscape and sweeping desert views! The highlight of this trail was the long corridor of mosaic tiles along the road. When you're driving looking at it, it's really cool to see the desert flowers and cacti! It was a highlight for sure! It's always nice to go for a hike or walk and try something new, and this trail did not disappoint! Sunshine and fresh air were just what we needed! And the sunset was absolutely spectacular! Einstein decided that he was ready for a night out after being a little under the weather from his procedure! He wanted to see his brother 🤣, so we had dinner with our son and his girlfriend. It was a beautiful night, and we had the entire outside patio to ourselves! We had a great time catching up and telling stories and really just enjoying each other's company 🥰 The highlight was the "donut bites" lol! They were more than bites and soooo delicious! We had a good laugh when we saw them though! 🍩 We don't get dessert often, but when we do we go big!! 🤣 Friendly reminder that life is short so eat the donuts once in a while!
