This big beauty came into rescue a couple weeks back. It's been a really rough go and we are still having trouble getting weight to stay on but each day brings out this beauties sweet temperament. Hopefully soon we can get a bath as Drake is DIRTY!! 🐈‍⬛

So today proved to be another testament to the power of microchipping your pets. DMFR got a call early Friday of a sweet kitty meowing at a daycare door in San Tan Valley, near the Sonic. We scanned her for a chip, low and behold, up popped the chip number. Through some networking we located the owner. This cat went missing Sunday May 28th, and was found 7 days later 21.5 miles away from home. CHIP YOUR PETS, PEOPLE!!

We have been off the grid for so long here at DMFR, but we are constantly filling up and so the constant care has pulled us away from this part of rescue. But we have so many babies that will be coming up for adoption soon after their little ailments are healed. We took in four littles this last week. Including a tiny twin set!
