City Commissioner Omar Sabir to Participate in Voting Rights
Town Hall

Philadelphia, PA- Vice Chairman, City Commissioner Omar Sabir will participate in a Tele-Town Hall on Friday, January 6, 2023, that will be broadcast on ‘Facebook live’ and ‘YouTube’.
The Tele-town Hall is sponsored by the Transformative Justice Coalition (TJC), and will feature the President and Founder of the Transformative Justice Coalition, Barbara Arnwine Esq., Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Congressman John Sarbanes (D-MD), TJC Chairman Daryl D. Jones Esq., and other distinguished guests and contributors.
Titled “OUR FREEDOMS, OUR VOTE,” the Town Hall event will include discussions about the January 6, 2021, Attack on the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington D.C, civic education, elections (local and national), voting rights and reforms, and other topics.
The event will be moderated by Transformative Justice Coalition founder and President Barbara Arnwine Esq, and Chairman Daryl D. Jones Esq. The discussion will also include strategies and actions to combat the assault against civil rights and the ‘anti-democracy’ movement.

Pre-qualification Period: Awarded contracts will commence on May 1, 2023 and end on

December 31, 2023, with the Board having two (2) one (1)-year options to renew.

DEPARTMENT OF FACILITIES

RESPONSES ARE TO BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS SECTION OF THIS THIRD SUPPLEMENTAL REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS. IF RESPONDENT DESIGNATES ANY PORTION OF ITS SUBMITTAL AS EXEMPT UNDER THE ILLINOIS FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (“FOIA”), RESPONDENT SHALLALSO PROVIDE ONE (1) ELECTRONIC VERSION OF THE REDACTED RESPONSE.

A performance and payment bond shall be required for each Project over $50,000.00 awarded to a qualified Respondent in the amount of the base contract price for such Project. The qualified Respondent shall acquire the bond(s) at its own expense. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price will be required for all Project bids over $25,000.00 at time of bid. No bid deposits will be accepted.



THIS THIRD SUPPLEMENTAL RFQ (AND THE RFQs THAT IT IS SUPPLEMENTING - SPECIFICATION NUMBERS 20-350026, 21-321 AND 22-191) CONTAIN NEW CATEGORIES OF TRADE/CRAFT SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN PRIOR RFQ SOLICITATIONS AS FOLLOWS: 1) ARTIFICIAL TURF REPAIR; 2) AUDIO VISUAL; 3) BACKFLOW; 4) FIRE PUMPS AND ALARMS; 5) KITCHEN EXHAUST HOOD SYSTEM CLEANING; 6) KITCHEN EXHAUST HOOD SYSTEM REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE; 7) POOL REPAIR; 😎 ROOFING II; 9) PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, AND REPAIR; 10) ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, AND REPAIR; 11) CUSTODIAL EQUIPMENT REPAIR; and 12) BOARDING UP BUILDINGS. IN ADDITION, THIS THIRD SUPPLEMENTAL RFQ ADDS ONE (1) NEW CATEGORY NOT INCLUDED IN ANY OF SPECIFICATION NUMBER 20-350026, 21-321 OR 22-191 AS FOLLOWS: 13) FIRE WATCH. CONTRACTORS CURRENTLY PRE-QUALIFIED TO PROVIDE VARIOUS TRADES SERVICES UNDER ANY OF SPECIFICATION NUMBERS 20-350026, 21-321 OR 22-191 (THE SPECIFICATIONS BEING SUPPLEMENTED) NEED NOT RESPOND TO THIS THIRD SUPPLEMENTAL RFQ.
