“I was born in Moscow but spent my formative years growing up in NYC. As I began my tattoo career, Brad Fink and Michelle Myles were already iconic figures within the tattoo community. Not only were their contributions to the heritage of the craft deeply influential, but their individual careers were a major source of inspiration for me personally. Over time, as I developed and refined my own work, my focus shifted toward the study of traditional Japanese tattooing. I strive to create tattoos rooted in classic imagery, composition, and technique while maintaining a strong respect for the tradition itself. I’m currently based at Sena Tattoo in NYC and I travel to Japan about every 6 months where I work out of Three Tides Tattoo. I had the opportunity to try Fink Caps and I was genuinely impressed. Not only is the design compact and efficient for traveling to conventions, but the built in slant of the cap creates a much smoother process overall. You’re able to sit lower while maintaining the perfect visibility. The oval structure also provides significantly more clearance for mags, which makes a noticeable difference while working. It feels like a fresh test twist on an old trick, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with a tattooer owned product that’s clearly designed to make tattooing easier and more efficient.”
