We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who came out and supported our Explorer Program. Your support helps provide valuable opportunities, training, and experiences for our young men and women.

A special thank you goes out to our Parents association President, Nichole Kemmerer, as well as the officers from the 15th District, our Associate Advisors, and the many volunteers who worked behind the scenes to help make this event possible. Your dedication and commitment are greatly appreciated.

Today, our Explorer Cadets had the privilege of assisting during the 2026 FIFA World Cup by providing refreshments and snacks to the law enforcement officers assigned throughout and around the event perimeter.

While these officers work long hours to ensure the safety and security of attendees, our cadets were proud to support them through this small but meaningful act of service. Opportunities like this not only allow our Explorers to give back to those who serve but also provide valuable experience in teamwork, community engagement, and public service.

We are incredibly proud of our cadets for their professionalism, dedication, and willingness to step up whenever called upon. Thank you to all the officers and public safety personnel working tirelessly to keep everyone safe and make this world-class event a success.

Our color guard surprised Captain Ward at his graduation.

Over the weekend, our Explorer Program said farewell to Captain Ward, who has officially resigned from his position as Captain as he prepares to pursue a career in the military.

Captain Ward rose through the ranks of our Explorer Program through hard work, dedication, and leadership. Throughout his time with us, he proved to be an outstanding role model and a tremendous asset to both our staff and fellow Explorers.

Beyond his involvement in the program, Captain Ward has continually demonstrated a commitment to personal and professional growth. He has completed extensive training in areas such as Emergency Medical Services (EMT), Homeland Security, Emergency Management, and many other disciplines. His willingness to expand his knowledge and share that knowledge with others has greatly benefited our program and those around him.

We are incredibly proud of all that Captain Ward accomplished before joining our program and of the many achievements he attained while serving within it. His dedication, leadership, and service have earned him numerous roles and responsibilities with other organizations, making him a true example of what it means to be a leader.

Captain Ward, thank you for your commitment, mentorship, and service to our Explorer family. We are grateful for the impact you have made and the example you have set for others to follow. We wish you nothing but success as you begin this next chapter of your journey and proudly serve our nation in the military.

This past weekend, our Explorer Cadets, along with our staff and Associate Advisors, had the opportunity to enjoy some well-deserved downtime and team bonding. We spent the day at Neshaminy State Park, where we enjoyed games, great BBQ, and the beautiful weather.

It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the accomplishments of several of our Explorers who recently graduated from school. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and achievements, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for them.

This young man had recently been accepted into our Explorer Program and was preparing to begin his journey as an Explorer Cadet. He was excited about the opportunity to serve his community, develop leadership skills, and be part of something greater than himself.
