As summer begins to wind down, our Early Learning Center & Lower School scholars spent the day doing what children do best... playing, exploring, and making memories at the iconic Smith Memorial Playground & Playhouse in !

From racing down the famous wooden slide to climbing, laughing, and discovering together, every moment reminded us that play is more than fun. It's how children build confidence, friendships, creativity, and lifelong curiosity.

Here's to soaking up every last bit of summer before another incredible school year begins! 💙🌳

Our Early Learning Center Summer Session scholars had an unforgettable day at Elmwood Park Zoo! From getting up close with the goats to meeting a towering giraffe, our youngest explorers enjoyed another hands-on adventure in nature.🍃

Our Early Learning Center summer session visited the Awbury Arboretum this week, exploring nature up close and meeting amazing new goat friends from Philly Goat Project.

Through meaningful, hands-on experiences like this, our youngest scholars discover and grow with confidence. More fun on the horizon! Next stops: Elmwood Park Zoo, Smith Memorial Playground & Playhouse, Please Touch Museum .

🌍🎨 Creativity with at the Center!

Our Summer Camp scholars have been hard at work creating meaningful art projects that celebrate the beauty and diversity of the African continent.

Through hands-on creativity, our scholars are learning history, culture, and self-expression while making connections that will last a lifetime.

🚌✨ A day of learning, exploration, and inspiration in our nation’s capital!

Our Scribes of Sankofa Summer Camp scholars traveled to Washington, DC, where they visited the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial, and the National Air and Space Museum.

It was a day filled with knowledge, culture, curiosity, and connection. Experiences like these leave a lasting impact and help shape tomorrow’s leaders.

Recently, Lotus Academy scholars enjoyed an exciting day of fun, fellowship, and celebration at in Mt. Laurel, . From rides and games to time spent together outside the classroom, our scholars had the opportunity to simply be kids and enjoy a well-deserved day of joy.
