After the tragic mass shooting on July 2 and 3, 2023, in the Kingsessing community, the Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center was established to provide a safe space for those affected by the violence to heal and find support. We aim to help survivors, families, and the community move from hurt to hope by offering mental health services, community connections, and compassionate care.

Their mission reflects exactly what this expo is all about: bringing organizations together to empower neighborhoods, strengthen lives, and create lasting impact throughout Philadelphia and beyond.

Last night, hosted our monthly healing activity with families and community members, and it was truly a great time 🪓💙✨
From laughter and connection to friendly competition during axe throwing, the evening created space for our community to unwind, recharge, and simply enjoy being together. Healing-centered moments like these continue to remind us of the importance of safe spaces, positive experiences, and community connection.
