MW Jim Baker is a 3rd generation Arizonan and a Florence native. His Grandfather came to Florence in 1912 during statehood and was WM of Gila Valley Lodge No. 9 in 1925. He began his Masonic career in 1999 when he was accepted to membership in Gila Valley Lodge No. 9 and served as WM in 2002 and secretary from 2003-2018. Grand Lodge service began in 2003 as Grand Pursuivant, DDGM from 2004-2011, GL Charters and Bylaws from 2009-2015, Masonic Charities of Arizona from 2012-2017, Secretary of the Year 2007, Distinguished Service Award 2011 and 2015
