Sometimes you just have to remember that Reading Terminal has more than just good looking & smelling food.

Today didn’t start off so good. I got up at a time I didn’t plan for, and also missed out on doing my morning rituals much earlier when I had the chance.
Because of things feeling like they aren’t going the way I want them, I’m reminded to just “breathe and let be.”

Some things for today are truly out of my control, yet what I can do is to not focus on it so much and let it be.

Saving me from wasting time and energy when I need to put it elsewhere to be more present and productive.
I STILL WANT A SMOOTHIE THO😩

Today I didn’t start with my daily ritual of making some tea and/or having a smoothie 😩 and it’s messing with me.
Sometimes the brain needs encouragement to slow down and tea helps with just that.

🥴 BUT I WANT A SMOOTHIE RIGHT NOW!!

Philadelphia’s apothecary tradition dates back at least to 1729, when Irish immigrant Christopher Marshall opened one of the first known apothecary shops in the city, and to the 18th‑century Pennsylvania Hospital apothecary serving inpatients.

Philly are you ready to learn and see more about the herbal essence of the city? 🌿🚙💨

Over this past weekend, I not only enjoyed the weather, but also had the pleasure of partaking in a local food pantry in Uptown off of Broad St. & Chelten Ave. at the St. Marks Lutheran Church.

A beautiful experience with seeing clear organization in action, and being surrounded by a loving and caring spirit that touched everyone there.

Even the elderly lady who came late, tried to bust in line like this was free lunch back in middle school, and had the nerve to cuss another woman out for exposing that she wasn’t trying to get to the back of the line. Even har adversarial spirit was touched and moved to be helpful and supportive towards the event.

😳 some ladies weren’t playing with her behind 🤜💥🤛

Mom, loving you is food to my soul. You’ve watered me and my sister for many years and have even gone thru many days of helping to prop your flowers up from the many storms we’ve faced. Now that we’ve grown and have blossomed, enjoy your garden and bask in the beauty of what you and daddy sowed. It’s been time for your garden to give back. We love you mom 😘 ❤️ And specials thanks to .restaurant for helping us to celebrate ❤️
