As we look forward to a busy summer here at Chamounix Equestrian Center, we invite our community to come together to join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Even with our new state-of-the-art facility, Work to Ride continues to rely on the support of volunteers and our wider community to keep our programs going and horses cared for. Whether you’re already part of the Work to Ride family or joining us for the first time, we’d love to welcome you to the barn. Everyone is welcome!

Their support is opening doors: funding counselor-in-training roles and providing scholarships for Philadelphia youth attending our Chamounix summer day camp and polo camp for the very first time.

Proud faces all around from the Southwest Peace Project!

Today participants completed an 8 week cohort with us at Work to Ride (WTR). Students worked in conjunction with WTR staff, an equine-assisted therapist, and horses in activities focused on social emotional learning and confidence building through horsemanship skills. To mark the end of the program, we gathered with certificates in hand and were joined by the student's families to celebrate the accomplishments achieved throughout the series. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this partnership happen!

Thank you United States Polo Association for supporting a wonderful weekend of middle school polo! This was our first USPA tournament in the new . Shout out to all the volunteers that helped out this weekend to make sure everything went smoothly! We even got our non horsey parents learning how to scoop p**p.

We are excited to partner with and for this year’s Remake Learning Days festival, happening May 1–23!

You're invited to a discovery day hosted at Chamounix Equestrian Center in West Fairmount Park on May 14th from 4PM-6PM. Guests will be led on an educational tour of a working stable, learn about horse care and behavior, and participate in an interactive activity with horses. A time was had at our 2025 Halloween Gymkhana!

The day was packed with everything from a horse costume contest and barrel racing to pole bending, snacks, merch, tricks, and plenty of treats! 🍬🤠

It was incredible to host our neighbors from in the McAusland Arena for the first time and to give our Work to Ride and Chamounix lesson students a chance to try out some western skills.

We can’t thank our community and volunteers enough for showing up and making it all possible.
